It does not matter if you replace 3 words by only 2. You only need to look in game if the words you have written does not exceed the box or the space provided for this purpose in game.

 

To see in game your work, you got 2 options :

 

- Finnish folder is already included (with english sentences) and you choice Finnish, but it's not actually the case.

 

- You replace French sentences in the French files by Finnish without change the "EN" or "FR" at top of files.

Like that and puting your game in "French" or "Francais" in the launcher you will can see your work ;)

 

 

And about the files look a last thing : in the files each time you see sentences with "undescore" like this  "Put_in_a_box" it's not what you will see on screen, it's the ID of the order for the game.

But after this you write the words who appear on screen.

 

Exemple with the french :

 

"Put_in_a_box" = "Mettre en boîte"

 

You see me too 4 words have been replaced by only 3, and I don't put "underscore" "_" because it's what appear on screen.

 

You can create too a "Finnish Translation" Topic HERE like other don't be afraid :P and ask to others Finnish to come help you to decide and share the work.

"You survived for" message after you die in survival doesn't seem to support cyrillic letters,  returning a couple of numbers and an awesome smiley face to me.

I have actually asked a friend to help me out, he if anyone (people I know) have the skill to guide me through this. I even gifted him a copy so now he just cannot refuse.

 

This language is just plain hard to "get it right" that the game wouldn´t feel, let´s say cheap. I personally hate almost every Finnish translation found in games so yeah, that small thing buggers the most. To get this just right. I have already done maybe about 35% of the translation, but there is still lot to do..

 

I shall create Finnish topic as soon my friend joins me on this Quest for Holy Grail.. Now I shall start roasting him for this matter. And once again, cheer for the headups..

I updated my translation files adding new stuff and fixing some typo's a while ago, it seems that it still isnt used in build 23, not trying to be a pain in the ass, but just wondering if you guys noticed its updated.

While going over the files one last time I saw 5 items that werent translated yet, all fixed now

Hello all! I found a straight up lie in the Survival Guide :D

 

when holding RMB

"Your character will always walk towards the mouse pointer: the further away you hold it from your imperilled body, the faster you will move."

 

I assume it's supposed to be "Your character will always look towards the mouse pointer: the further away you hold it from your imperrilled body, the further the screen will scroll."?

 

I will disregard this part in my translation endeavours until further notice :P

Would you change the author of the Japanese translation thread?

It seems the author is missing, so the initial post can't be modified.

In addition, his translation is terrible because of his language skills.

He isn't good at Japanese. I say for a fact that he can't manage the thread.
