GoldenBullet
So after my electricity went off, i made giant stockpiles of tasty soup from the perishables in my fridge before they had a chance to rot. 10 days later, went to go check up on them and they are no good -_____-. Is soup in general perishable or do you have to cook it to avoid spoilage.
Invader Jim
Soup in a pot spoils. Soup in a bowl spoils. It usually takes 2 days or maybe 3. It is best on the first day and then its condition degrades every day. Use near rotten ingredients and you will get near rotten soup.
GoldenBullet
I read online that soup was non-perishable but i guess that was in a previous build. Dangit xD. Oh well I still have a good stockpile of non-perishables but i wish i didnt waste all my tuna in making that soup.
Seiko Yamada
It is still non perishable, it will rot in a pot (im a poet) but once u pour it into bowls it will be fresh again. Prolly gonna be changed later tho. Gonna start roting inside bowls again tho.
thiosk
I know there was a lot of information floating around regarding previous builds. Was confusing to me, too. I feel like a few things rot too quickly to be useful after the power goes, bowls of soup among them.
darthdraken
To be honest. Rotting is based on the connection with the air. And having the opion to seal food in to containers that can be air tight would increase the time it takes to rot. So air tight plastic containers would be a good add to the game. That didn't make any sense at the time, but I was all excited to have stockpiles of soup that kept good forever. My bubble burst harshly a few days after I mass produced the soups . Swagger
In an earlier build they were non perishable, but that was fixed. The problem is that the wiki isn't updated enough
