  1. It's great to see the wiki being in good hand and getting some updates . I'm often known to contribute much to wikis, having an account in PZWiki for a while with a few minor contributions myself, but I often tend to burn out in a while, not being good for keeping all things in hand for a long time. Lately I've been mostly busy with reporting minor annoyances (bug and minor suggestions) on the forums, as you probably noticed, some of which already got fixed in the most recent weather test build (thank you PZ dev team!), even if there's no official notes yet, waiting for the next IWBUMS to come hopefully soon to see what made it there and hopefully seeing invincible multiplayer zombies so I can test how weather works in multiplayer with my wife properly and what other bugs creep out. Plus I have a few bug reports to make, based on my loose notes I make when playing still. Anyway, back to the wiki, I've been thinking to contribute some info especially for food items and movable furniture (but I see you got that covered mostly), but I'll hold off with at least some major contributions until the next version comes to avoid some possibly doubled work (particularly because of the item correction bug report I made, some of which already got in the most recent weather test build – funny as I was the one that originally suggested moving Dog Food to Dogfood to match in-game name which will have to be moved back soon ). Until then though, I have a few suggestions, some of which would require attention of PZ website administrators, as are not directly related to the wiki, but I decided to post them here in one thread instead. I marked them with [!]: [!] Since we are giving more attention to wiki now, would it be possible to feature it directly in the https://projectzomboid.com/ upper menu? Currently link to PZ Wiki (and the forums) is located under "Community" section. It would be nice if it would be more prominent, similar to the (relatively recently) added PZMap. While at it, I think it would be nice to move forums there to and leave the "community" section to social networks and fansites – also, please update the link to PZMap with https as it currently redirects from http anyway . [!] While at it, would it be possible to add redirect to https:// to the wiki? Though that might be harder, as it's standing on a separate domain to projectzomboid.com or theindiestone.com while PZMap was pretty much moved from the old pzmap.crash-override.net to map.projectzomboid.com. Turned out there is https:// there, it just doesn't redirect you automatically to it. Ideally it'd redirect you to secure protocol when available, but even more important to update the link to https:// then! [!] Also, it would be nice if some changes would be made to Discord – I initially thought that #wiki channel there was to consult changes to wiki, while it's a bot spam channel to get info from totally different Undeniable PZ Wiki. To avoid confusion, how about creating a new #pzwiki-discussion channel where PZWiki stuff could be discussed, and renaming the existing #wiki to #bot-console or something similar which would be really handy in case SpiffoBot bot gets updated with more functionality or any new bots appears on horizon like in other popular Discord channels ? Finally, back to regular wiki maintenance – since I mentioned Undeniable "Hydrocraft" wiki being featured in Discord and there's even a Hydrocraft category with some content on PZWiki, I assume that while not official, they serve different content and there's nothing wrong between them, so how about addition of links to Undeniable database in item infoboxes etc.? Regular wiki may be slow with the updates and prone to human errors, so it would certainly be handy to have a link to up-to-date content generated directly from the game files . It might be too much to ask for a starter and might even use some assistance from the developers, but since there's already a good place to track changes on wiki, something that certainly would be nice to take a look is how the TFWiki handles updates and lists all the files changed, e.g. on the July 18, 2018 Patch page. It would certainly be nice to see at glance which files were changed, especially those from the media and lua folders which would certainly help both users and modders to see what exactly changed that might be missed in the official changelog for whatever reason . I assume the information on wiki should be based on the most recent stable version (which currently is on par with the IWBUMS), but should we mention the changes IWBUMS or other public test builds have on the actual pages too, or just leave it to the patch notes and forums until they actually gets implemented in stable branch? While at it, do you think it would be useful to also list the current public testing build (if active) on the main page (currently weather test at 40.3, previously vehicle test builds) with the link to appropriate info on wiki or forum? I also saw that you did much needed update to the main page listing up to date version and fixing other minor issues @Vaileasys, nice job! While at it, you can update http:// links to https:// when appropriate to ensure secure connections and avoid redirects and for starters at least rename the "Screenshot of the Day" title to something like "Featured Screenshot", as it was last updated on 16 May 2017 . I originally wanted to suggest a removal of it, as that section is rarely updated and just leaves the feeling the wiki is rarely updated, but there's issue with filling that spot and other languages that use it. I may be forgetting something that I wanted to add, but I'll add it later. Wanted to leave that in the meantime, as I wrap my head around the other bugs and things I wanted to communicate .
  2. In the next IWBUMS presume? https://projectzomboid.com/blog/2018/07/hotdoid/

    Defecation v2.22

I think not, as you can't even fill water from urinal in vanilla game, so they are treated differently in the first place, but I haven't tested it myself either.
  4. Seems the link preview's not working; I reported this bug just a while before: https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/24294-zombies-can-not-be-killed-or-pushed-in-multiplayer-with-anything-than-cars/
  5. Have you tried override = true maybe?
  6. It was on the most recent weather test (40.3), didn't tested it on earlier build though.
  7. Maybe it's Unix thing then? I wonder what causes it? Might try to take a deep look at it later.
  8. I think doors in Zomboid also one in one side, but indeed, you can open them even if something is standing behind them.

    Defecation v2.22

Nope, English and Steam workshop (so I think it should be up to date), but I'm using 40.3 weather test, so I'd have to check that in stable/iwbums. EDIT: I'm on Linux though, but not sure if it matters here?
  10. Not a modder myself, but maybe you could look at the code of other mods? My food list spreadsheet could come handy too, so you could adjust the new food to be in line with vanilla food (make a copy of it if you want to edit it). I try to keep it updated with the most recent game builds and suggest fixes in the bug reports forum to fix various small isseues with them, such as missing flags and typos too .
  11. I though it was reported, but I don't see it, maybe I'm blind but if not maybe it's worth reporting separately in bug reports, unless some dev acknowledge it as a known issue? BTW, you can see if you can access zombie inventory by standing close to it, too.
  12. I had that bug in stable/iwbums 39.67.5 in multiplayer. You can see if your body is invisible by standing near the place you died. It sometimes happens with zombie body too and even zombies themselves(!). There should be a bug report about it in bug report forum.
  13. Vehicle horns doesn't work in single or multiplayer on 40.3 (current weather test build) via the keybinding or radial menu (there is no sound and I think no progress bar, I think zombies don't hear it eaither). Sirens seems to work fine. It works in stable 39.67.5 just fine.
  14. So it seems that in the current weather test (40.3) you can make a multiplayer server, but the zombies are unkillable and unpushable with anything other than car. I tried it on my my wife's computer on different worlds and different settings, we both run Linux. I tried jawstab, shotgun and regular weapons (sledgehammer and frying pan) and nothing hits them. It works fine in stable/iwbums 39.67.5.
  15. According to the image, it seems that the pew protrudes to the wall, nice find. Can you post a PZMap location too?
  16. They work both ways, just lack the names is all .
  17. Indeed, I just tested it and you can take dirt, sand and gravel to the bag with the shovel:
  18. I posted some of them in threads, but I think I never posted them here: 862. When in the room with the clock, show the actual time. 863. Car mirrors. When you have them undamaged, you can see things behind better, especially when on reverse. They should be attached to doors. 864. Ability to refuel directly from the gas stations to a gas tank, without gas cans (I think it's not there yet). Confirmed it's there, thanks @Vaileasys! 865. Opened hood in car should reduce visibility. 866. Keybinding to open car radio panel, open siren panel, open/close window, un/lock all doors and open trunk. 867. Add Lock/Unlock Open/Close doors/hood/trunk to the right click vehicle menu, similar to how the door works. 868. I'm not sure if it was being mentioned and/or waits for the animation update, but visual indication for opened or missing parts (other than windows). 869. Fence gates can not be opened from inside and you can't jump through them (should they be even locked? You can often open gates IRL literally by just reaching your hand out). 870. Ability to physically turn (not click) ignition icon to start vehicle, similar how knobs in heater/oven works. 871. Ability to bind separate controls for vehicle (forward, break, steer left, steer right). 872. Now that all movables have name, how about showing the actual name next to the Loot All button? Would be easier to name containers. Heck, maybe even let us rename them! 873. Since you can pick up curtains now, right clicking and choosing"Remove Curtains" should pick up curtains instead of giving Sheets.

  20. I decided to make a list of items that currently can not be picked, but technically should be possible to do. Seeing as virtually anything can be picked now, given enough skill and having required tools, I decided to put it in the bug reports as possible omissions instead of suggestion, even if technically it could probably apply to suggestion. I'll post separate I'll try to post each item, screenshot and example PZMap location based on the most recent public testing build (as the time of writing 40.3 weather test build) and give a suggested name for it, since I think the tiles don't get a name until they are able to be picked: First of all, all the items that are destroyed by vehicles can no longer be picked (cones, signs, mailboxes, dumpsters). I can list them, but they should be easy to determine since it was a new addition and it was being mentioned a few times already I think. Unopenable windows (all of them, it was requested on a few occasions already) see also this thread All doors (you can dismantle them, but not pick to move, apparently it's known but harder as they are legacy code, also see this thread for list of doors that have no name (Disassemblable Object)) Stair and walls which can be sledgehammered, but I assume it's intentional All nature stuff (bushes, trees, etc.), which was mentioned before by someone Tall structures (streetlamps, traffic lights, american flags, tall signs) – some of these can be sledgehammered leaving a funny situation of just upper part hanging, but other than that can not be picked or disassembled. It's an engine limitation though and I think it was discussed before, but listing them for completeness anyway. Light switches (see also this thread) For Lease Sign that are placed on windows though this might be an engine limitation, as normal ones are pickable, see this thread for more info Fuel dispenser, but I guess it's by design Manger / Feeding Trough: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10854x9084 Empty Sign: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10609x9909 Zippee Newsstand: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10606x9610 Fossoil Newsstand: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10634x9755 Gas 2 Go Newsstand: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10670x10621 Small Spiffos Dinner Table: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10619x9649 Large Spiffos Dinner Table: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10618x9646 50s Dinner Table (see also this thread😞https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10617x10564 Cubicle Walls: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10622x9684 (level 1) Small Box: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10608x10256 Buffet Counter: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10613x10303

    Defecation v2.22

Here's the missing tooltip for Defecation in toilet that I see:
  22. It seems there's not much left of those anymore, as most (all?) of the objects that can be picked got its name. It seems all that's left are a fence and a few toilet doors that are not pickable, here's the list of those that I spotted in Muldraugh, feel free to add if you know of more: Fence: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10843x9084 Outhouse Door: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10834x8938 Blue Toilet Door: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10607x9384 Brown Toilet Stall Door: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10612x10557 Blue Toilet Stall Door: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10666x10614
  23. 4. There's a missing glass in the Muldraugh South Diner: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10617x10564
  24. Signs and drawings that are visible on windows, such as For Lease, 24 hours, All U Can Eat or BA, KE, RY signs in Muldraugh, stay there (and can't be picked) when the window is smashed, including when the glass is removed. You can go through them if you want, too.
  25. With this patch you can now build campfire inside a home safely. I didn't test it but other heat sources such as Charcoal and Propane BBQ, Antique oven and of course the regular ovens with the electricity could contribute to the heat too. I asked about the air conditioners that are visible in some houses, but I assume they don't work yet. I also don't think that candles or lights contribute to the total heat, but that would be a good idea – especially for candles, but knowing that there was no popularized energy-saving lamps at 1990s they could contribute some heat too…
