  1. I've been requesting this for ages.
  2. Of all the games I've played I've never been able to make Preservatives because I've never found both Jars or Lids at the same time. Its either one, the other or neither. To make it easier how about turning Remoulade into both. Edit: Also add the command to "Empty Bottle of Remoulade" if it gets rotten.
  3. Just a suggestion. When a character uses the Obese trait the trait should disappear when they reach standard weight. PS - On a side note what's up with characters with Obese not able to run at all? I know they can't move as fast or run as long. How about halving movement and duration at maximum speed for characters with Obese?
  4. Camp fires would be a good use to destroy items. Pretty much everything in the game would be disposable and considered fuel for fire. The only thing that wouldn't would be any metals.
  5. I just lost a game where zombies had already broke into a building and still inside, so I thought it was okay to enter. I go through a broken window and the building's burglar alarm goes off. I though it was a building off in the distance the way it sounded off to the right and different than then usual. As I killed the zombies inside the building and next thing I know a horde of zombies are on top of me. Talk about a cheap way to die. If a building is assigned to have an alarm, zombies shouldn't be immune to setting them off. This would also help with moving zombies throughout the world just like helicopters and gun shots.
  6. Ashes and blood should be washed aways when it rains. Why does my character have to do all the works?
  7. I'm playing the Food Build and after 7 days may character just dropped dead for no reason. I had no injuries during the game and my thirst was a bit high, not in the deep red, and I kept my character well fed. If it was from thirst that needs to be adjusted because the moddle only popped a few moments before he died. There needs to be more information stated on why characters die outside of killed be zombies and turning into a zombie. How are players suppose to learn from their mistakes, if they don't know what in their game strategy to fix?
  8. It would be nice if there was an option where you can set the fog of war graphically that you can only see what your character can see with the rest of the world being black or just the room you happen to be in. This would help submerge players deeper into the game because the player isn't seeing everything and stuff outside when the character is inside. Seeing zombies, rain, etc. clearly outside through semi-transparent walls knowing that they're out there is somewhat of a turn off. There's some things that I shouldn't be able to see, yet I clearly can. Being outside would be a little different like stuff out of the characters vision fading out and seeing nothing behind him.
  9. There's a major problem when to comes to doors in the game. When a door is in the foreground in front of my character it registers as invisible thus it is inaccessible to any menu commands allowing me to unlock or unbarricade it. Here is a vidcap of what I'm talking about. My character, who has a hammer, is standing behind a door that has been barricaded and there's no menu option. I'm forced to go inside to be in front of the door where it then becomes visible to interact with it. As you'll see in the picture windows are always visible, yet for some reason this aspect wasn't used when it comes to doors.
  10. The easiest way to check is to go to bed. If queasy pops up in your sleep, you're infected.
  11. That's not the real solution is it? That's overly complicated and also makes no sense realistically. Sprinkling a bag of dirt on the ground to magically make a cell farmable is beyond illogical. I'd rather just stick with what I've been doing and build walls out a little farther to get to the grass. As for finding a Sledgehammer its not that hard. you just make a trek to McCoy logging or small warehouse and there's a great chance youll find one. I wish PZ incorporated the perfect farming mod that somebody made a long time ago. You constructed boxes to put dirt in to allow you to farm. There also needs to me multiple solutions to survival. I've have more problems finding a sand bag a sledgehammer, so it would be nice to also have it this way. Survival is based off of being creative with what you have, not be forced to gain specific items to one solution. I, in fact, plan to make a simple mod that helps players make tents easier and its very simple to do with what's already in the game.
  12. Knox Bank http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.4125595238095238,0.21187499999999998,256 You have half your fortress already built. All you need to do is wall off the area behind the bank, build a wall to the chain linked fence and close off the back entrance. I had the fortress built in 5 days in one game, but I screwed up and got greed killing a small horde of zombies that appeared from a helicopter and got bit before I could actually use it.
  13. Build pillars in front of windows and doors to stop zombies from attacking your house. When they are headbanging the pillar you can attack them. Easy peazy.
  14. I don't know if this is a bug, but I was at the motel and pressed E to climb over the banister to fall to the first floor and the character wouldn't do it. I could have swore this was possible in earlier versions.
  15. I find it unrealistic that I can push a zombie hard enough to send him 2+ cells away and he still has enough coordination to stay on his feet. I know our characters lose strength through exertion, but the zombies in PZ have better equilibrium than a Flying Wallenda crossing a tight rope. I don't mind if zombies getting knocked to the ground have their rest period shortened if this is added. Zombies that I've knocked down should recover quicker anyways, because they don't suffer from pain or any other standard weaknesses from being pushed to the ground Also it would be good to be able to connect hitting a stumbling zombie when they're falling backwards. It annoys the hell out of me that when I push a zombie into a corner, it's trying to stay standing animation goes into affect and my attacks don't register. Players should be able to hit a zombie with weapons or pushing at all times. When a zombie goes into that mode, it should be very easy to knock off balanced zombies down even when over exerted. And since I'm throwing out zombie fixes, when one falls from the second story it should either automatically become a crawler or on a very lucky chance die from brain injury. Its good that IS added that when they hit the ground they lay on the ground before recovery instead of just landing on their feet and immediately return to going after you. All that's left is to add in the damage zombies take from falling.
  16. 18 Days on Insane. I was doing great then the game and was just starting to fortify my safe house when all of a suffer the game decided to have gun shots and helicopters daily. It did a one on top of my location and I was forced to escape my safe house running to the small warehouse to hopefully hold out until I could get things back in order. That didn't happen. Everytime I tried to barricade windows it attracted more zombies. I fought them off for 3-5 hard days until another helicopter showed up and directed every zombie in town to me. I was starving at this point, since I left my save house with nothing, and decided to run to another house. On the way over I died of starvation. This version of PZ has made eating very hard in this version. I'm eating like 6-8 times a day. it needs to be adjusted a bit to be more realistic. Live up to 10 days without food and 5-7 days without water.
  17. Gluten caused the zombie outbreak. Mystery solved!
  18. With gardening limited to grassy areas there needs to be a way to bust the ground with concrete to get to the dirt underneath to farm. One place that I like to make as a safe house is the high school, but after I log wall up the open side of the playground to make it safe I can't plant seeds unless I design it so there's a small patch of grass.
  19. Indie Stone needs to bring back the option of pushing furniture. I loved doing that with 1.5 on the old map. The safe house I always liked to use didn't have a place to sleep on the first floor, so every game I pushed a couch from another place to mine. I also had fun pushing funiture out of second story windows, but the game didn't register them landing in the first level since that wasn't programmed in. As for taking off doors I've been suggesting you being able to do it with a screw driver for like forever. I keep hoping. Maybe a modder will jump on it.
  20. I find it odd that my character can't Rest without the use of funiture (bed, chair, etc.) available. If I've been running aross the map from a horde of zombies and stuck in the woods my character is barred from Resting to lower his fatigue. I'm forced to find shelter where all the zombies are, which is a major pain when playing on Insane. When playing in Muldraugh I'm always forced to run across the map to the Lumber Yard, since I know there's close to zero zombies there.
  21. The alcohol content in a bottle of Cologne must be around the same level as drinking Alcohol, which can already do this process in game. Thus it makes sense that Cologne should also do it. Also if mouthwash ever gets in in the future, it should also have that property.
  22. Yes, because its a specific type of umberella design that's deep. If I didn't, people wouldn't get the idea why it was practical if it was the standard shallow design like this one: or this one: or this one:
  23. There's a lot of ways to collect water that have yet to be mentioned: - Collect water out of trash cans. The game has them everywhere, so all that needs to be done is copy the code from the water collectors when it comes to rain and paste it into them. - Add a plastic umbrella/parasol. All that you have to do is open it and stake it upsidedown into the ground.
  24. The graphics crew needs to go back and create all the walls that are missing. I'm in the process of making the restaurant/apartment building from the animated series Bob's Burgers, but I can't because the green brick exterior wall tiles from that I need don't exist. They seemed to have only create wall tiles needed specifically for the designs in the game and not for modding purposes. I would like the graphics crew to go back and create wall tiles for all the building types so far, so that modders can use whatever door/window designs they like without a problem.
  25. Okay, I figured out the problem with the walls being invisible with the exterior wall I used when placing a window. The PZ graphics team didn't create a wall for using basic windows. They only designed enough to create the building they needed and not for modding purposes.
