    I love the new models! I hope the specialized zombie clothes are rare so it doesn't make the game look too goofy and give a fun "rareness" aspect to some of the clothes. But anyways I'm still really excited for this progress, can't wait!
  2. The lore is based off of Max Brook's zombie lore, the guy who wrote World War Z (NOT THE MOVIE) and the zombie survival guide.
  3. Seems cool for some servers, but It's not like level 10 aiming or sprinting is an easy accomplishment. There are no books for these, so if you want to be good at killing players, you'd have to have a shitton of ammo and time. Also, death is still a thing. Just that you're good at shooting doesn't mean you won't be bitten on the ankle by a crawler or fall out of a window by accident. I think it's fine as it is. People who have high levels have spent a lot of time training for that skill, so it's not overpowered unless they cheated it in at the beginning of the game or something of that sort.

This is a problem I see a lot of, especially in multiplayer where most doors are broken down: Too many broken doors which are just planks on the ground, and rebuilding the door needs a highish level of carpentry. This makes finding a safe place in multiplayer hard, since so many doors are broken, you can't always just build another. Even when you can rebuild a door, its just a brown conglomeration of planks on some hinges. My solution: Using a screwdriver and maybe other tools should allow you to take a door and keep it intact. Using a screwdriver to unscrew the hinges would take a decent amount of time, but when you finish you have a beautiful door you can put somewhere else, not some ratchet plank door. This shouldn't replace the current system though, breaking doors with an axe or bat should still create planks and doorknobs. What do you think?
  5. I know that in PZserversettings there is a number value for days when water or power goes out, so I think you could host a private server only you could access. The server settings have a lot more customization, but it takes a lot more work to do it. I don't see why a lot of those aren't settings in sandbox.

  7. So I could see this happen to someone: Accidently fall out of a 2 story window, fracture leg, losing health fast. Still no axe, so no branches or any splint materials RIP I feel like you should be able to break off branches off of trees. It shouldn't be a split-second thing, but it should take you a few seconds, maybe 5. This would be sped up with a saw or axe, making the time quicker. If this was added, you could still splint yourself without having to have one of the game's rarest weapons.

  9. One thing that has bothered in Project Zomboid over the past year or two i've had it is the zombies' human-like agility. These zombies barely have enough coordination to walk, yet when there's a small fence or open window, they don't scramble over or or something. They LEAP over it. One clean move and its already coming after you. You would think jumping over a fence with zombies behind you would slow them down a bit.. When you think of a zombie trying to enter a house through a window, it would be tough work. It should be lucky for a zombie to drag itself over a windowframe, get inside, and start walking, let alone HOP in like it was nothing. I'm thinking zombies should take a lot longer time to enter a house through a window, maybe a bit less time if it's a fence. Maybe even falling over when they cross, much like when they jump out of a 2 story window. This could also be affected by zombie "age", kind of like how they slow down and get weaker the longer they've been reanimated. With so much realism involved in this game, zombies jumping over stuff seems a bit silly. Edit: The Higher zombie agility is in sandbox mode, it should be effected. For example, sprinters could easily jump over stuff, since they can run just as well as people. This could be a nice addition to the already hyped Animation Update.
  10. Currently, the only time you get in trouble by zombies is getting surrounded and grabbed when you are standing still. Other than that, zombies are not much of a threat, especially when you're running. There have been countless times where I can just carelessly run right up against a horde of zombies, even giant, spread out hordes, and I just slide through the zombies. I think zombies should be able to grab you while you're walking or running, by lunging or something of that sort. This way, if you are cocky and are walking next to a horde, you can still get grabbed and eaten alive by 20 zombies.
  11. If anyone is wondering what people mean by Romero and Brooks lore, I think Romero started making zombies popular in media, and Max Brooks Wrote World War Z THE BOOK (not the movie) world war Z and the zombie survival guide he wrote goes into extreme detail on how the zombies act.
  12. I agree. Realistically you could get plastic containers and place them in your yard, and have rainwater collect in them
  13. I think it would be great if zombies were underwater sometimes, like in the BOOK World War Z, people die from zombies that pull them under water. Also in the book, it talks about zombies being able to climb anchors at the bottom of the water.
  14. I think it would be great if zombies were able to set off house alarms, creating another sort of Meta Game Event. Not exactly zombies that spawned in the house, but zombies that are trying to break in to get to you, or etc. It would be spooky spawning into a fresh world and a few minutes later hearing a distant siren going off and many zombies going towards it. Speaking of spookiness and Meta Game Events, a few days ago I heard a freaking female scream when I spawned. The I quit the game. 2spooki4me
