  1. Loving stable 33.13 so far, Only issue I'm having is v-sync no longer seems to be working. Apart from that the update is nice, loving the new ambient sounds and being able to move furniture the most. Keep up the great work devs
  2. People lose their shit every time NPCs are mentioned in a Mondoid or in a video, that's why it's stopped. The last question-and-answer thing was the breaking point. I just think it would be amazing if the devs did little inside videos every so often, Where you see the devs face, hear them talk about the game and maybe show some internal gameplay of what they are working on. I'm certain it would bring the community and devs closer together and get everyone on the same page. In trove when the community guy asks for the questions you normally get 20 pages mostly of stupid questions, But the devs pick out a few themselves and answer them, It works pretty well. The only video I could find of the PZ team was from 2012 (very good video, watch it) http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-07-10-rezzed-sessions-project-zomboid-how-not-to-make-a-game In it they all seem really nice and down to earth, Would love to see new videos of the pz team talking about the game

The dev team for the game I play called Trove do a really nice stream every friday where they go over what they are currently working on and what they will work on next and answer community pre-made questions about the future of the game. I think it would be awesome if the PZ dev team could maybe do a smaller scale version of that, Maybe once a month the pz dev team makes a short 10 minute video (doesn't matter if its pre-made or live) talking/showing about what they worked on, Are working on and what they will work on and maybe answer a few community questions, enigma could make a thread the previous month asking players to give questions for the video, something like that.

Maybe if the devs made a short video every now and again showing how the npc's are coming along, They used to make cool videos like that, I don't know why they stopped I think the last one was a year ago, maybe if they started making dev videos like that again it would appease the community and make them feel more involved in the development process. The mondoids are cool but I think it would be much better if instead like once a month they made a short video showing what they are working on and the plans for the future etc.

Update 33 is very good, I love the tv broadcasts, It makes the game feel even more alive, I think the broadcasts will play well off the npcs, like maybe you will here them talk amongst eachother about the broadcasts and then panic sets in , I can't wait The moveable furniture is amazing the ui and controls of it could use a little work but its such a nice feature. game is shaping up really nicely, keep up the great work devs. PZ is like a bun in the oven, not yet cooked but the smell is very alluring
  7. well if they delay that build few more weeks we can get there Or we can make similar thread about NPC to secure that achievement, but its too risky. you can fit 3 pages into the span of 3 days if everyonee complains even more. We're not complaining though. We're eagerly anticipating. As far as gambling goes, I know EnigmaGrey said mid-november. Did someone else say that too? My money's on mid December possibly January.

  12. I don't mind when zombies use simple pathfinding to follow me around a corner and stuff like that. What I really hate is when they show advanced pathfinding like this. Zombies should not be this intelligent.
  13. I must stop you there because the 2nd law of thermodynamics, entropy says this will inevitably happen. Equilibrium. Where in the laws of physics does it mention 'zombies' specifically, I missed that part in science class.
  14. This is the reason why I have stopped playing recently. This change (build32) sapped a lot of the fun out of it for me, Now I don't really see the point of playing. I don't mind zombies being challenging but I don't like impossible, Right now the only way to effectively survive long term is to constantly be on the move/switching bases like crazy because zombies are always going to be zooming in on you - you clear an area set up base within a certain period of time zombies WILL be on their way to you from miles away (How do they see so far? Who is telling them that there's an area a few miles up the road that been cleared out by a human? a hive mind like the borg?) Your downfall was clearing the area in the first place, it's stupid, what was the point. Why have things like base building if the main objective in the game is just to die. I enjoy fighting zombies but I don't enjoy fighting some sort of intelligent zombie god hive mind borg enemy. It constantly breaks immersion and reminds me that I'm not fighting zombies I'm fighting against the devs game script.
  15. Our beloved music guy (I can't remember his name) could do that also, but I feel like it will be cooler to have your own music and surviving at the rhythm of your favourite apocalyptic songs. BTW the game into game thing it's cool, but I personally think that it will banish a bit the sense of threat and survival. But it's cool. I know it sounds weird but I think that could be considered a little op, I mean you listen to your own favourite music in real life as you play the game (most probably do this already) and it benefits you in game. that's kinda op when you think about it

I love this idea but instead of us uploading our own music I think it would be cooler to have the music guy who did the score for the game to create new simple music for the cds kind of like a polyphonic ringtone that plays over and over, imagine in the chat box "WTT 2 bottles of whiskey for 1 Dance Mix CD" lol For the video games console I'd love it if it opened up a new small window of a simple 8 bit game like a video game within a video game type thing

I think the OP's suggestions of zombies no longer targeting you at later stages of infection and you showing visible signs of becoming a zombie are really interesting and could be a fun mechanic. Also I believe cannibalism would be a really good mechanic especially if food became more sparse, It would add a whole new dimension to the fear of someone killing you out of hunger and would make players more paranoid rightly so. The game is set in a zombie apocalypse after all. I always thought things like cannibalism and worse would be widespread in an real apocalypse. Who cares if it encourages shoot on sight, A pk'er is gonna shoot on sight regardless. That's what bans are for.

  19. So i wasn't the only one thinking that it was some kind of lemonade? God damn now that i think about that, its disgusting, i was thinking my character was freshing up with some sweet ass lemonade after a day of logging trees, now i can imagine him with tartar sauce all over his face while crying and choking back tears. Definitely been thinking it was lemonade too. Welp. As a Brit I know I am biased, but I love how British slang has made it's way in. In a way I would imagine my character to be British (maybe on holiday to West Point at the time of the outbreak) and the way things are named in game are just how she says them. I'd love if, in my nice safehouse, I could sit down with a Hot Cuppa with my neighbour in hopes of catching Corrie on television. Ughh my sister watches that, no thank you. I'll watch eastenders lol
  20. I think Lucky/Unlucky should be disabled in multiplayer because if a player with the unlucky trait visits an area, Then that area is forever tainted with 'unlucky' status for everyone else even if they have lucky.
  21. I don't think there were any solar panels for homes in the early 90's, Maybe a lvl 10 carpenter/engineer could build a wind turbine instead. Maybe its one of those things that some people love it some people hate, Here for example some people love marmalade and always have it in their cupboards, Me and my brother, sister have always hated it growing up, Now as an adult I rarely ever see it. Maybe I would if I went searching for it in a supermarket. Last time I seen marmalade would probably be like 5 years ago.   25. Actually, there's an option in the menu to swap between 12 and 24 hour clocks. Buurrrnnnnnn xD lol Hydrocraft mod has Jars of Pickles. I hate pickles, aaaghhhhhhhhhh >.<
