I think shower should definetly be implemented, doesnt have to be graphically fancy, just a bar loading, much like foraging, and at the end your happiness would increase. I think boredom and unhappiness are OP at the moment. Spending the night indoors reading a book, would not be upsetting, considering outside lurks death. So extra perks like shower to raise our mood would definetly be helpful

this is actually a planned feature in the PZ Vanilla Patch Mod along with brushing teeth, wearing make up and lipstick and playing rubber ducky (beware tho showering causes noise and noise attract zombies).

you can find the mod here:

That is actually really cool! Thank you for sharing. xD

  2. So when NPC's release I suggest we use a similar system to what State of Decay does as far as safe house tagging goes. You say 'our place' and boom everyone moves. It's complicated and might mean some internal grouping but I think that'll be the easiest way to do it. Maybe right click and "mark as safe house" or something and everyone in your 'group' will just know it is the safe house. But only the leader can do it. Meaning if you aren't the leader you can't. Sometimes I hate responsibility and if it was up to me every time it would suck. Unless the leader ordered you to of course but then I'd just tell him to go fall off a bridge cause frankly I'm not doing it. lol

  3. I want some real shoes plz. I want to be able to take off my clothes and run around naked for real. Without keeping my moccasins on. Or put on cowboy boots and be a naked cowboy. C'mon devs. Make my dreams come true! <3

  4. You know that map that you can find online? I want one of those in game if possible. It would make navigating much easier and especially when NPC's release I'm gonna want a map I can view without having to pause the game and open a window to find it. The map I'm referring to is this one. http://pzmap.crash-override.net/

It would be a two handed item so you'd have to put both of your weapons away to activate it. But once it's in your hands you just type m and it pops up. What do you think?

  5. If you haven't, try the IWBUMS branch. Read the forum post about it. It has the radio and it feels far less lonely.

But with no players or NPC's to contact on the radio you're still very lonely. #ForeverAlone

  6. I just absolutely love the fact that I come back to this thread and see people doing this strange maneuver with different objects. xD I mean you people could be animation experts, those guys who like get hooked up to wires and do animations for game designers? Yeah, you should do that. xD

While it doesnt change it from 12 to 24 or vice versa, what it does it changes the clock to a sun/moon. Works in 32.17 and its a great mod imo. Once you use it for awhile, you kindof know what time it is, and if you sleep how long before night/day end up.  Totaly helps with the brain freeze with trying to convert time for us simple americans ;)

The only down side is it doesnt tell you what the date it.  But you can kindof figure out what aproximately the month is via, how fast you start to get warm with wearing warm clothes, without em. If it starts snowing you know its a winter month for sure ;)

Its actually something i wishe was part of the default game, since it makes sence that without power, you really dont know what time it is. Even watches batteries die after awhile.

But i also do agree there should be a option atleast to toggle between 24h and 12h time.

Dude, you're absolutely amazing. I love you now. That's perfect!

  8. I'm certain I suggested this before but it was years ago and on a separate forum I believe (the old one) so I figured it's time to bring it up again. I want this as an American having to read a 24 hour clock hurts my head .xD That was some what of a joke. Although, I do find it a bit challenging when I'm having to do it in panic situations and it takes me a minute to convert times.

I hope in the future for clocks to be removed entirely and different methods implemented. But for now it would be nice if 12 hour clocks were optional for convenience purposes.

  9. If this is even possible is there a way for certain societies within the game (if you survive long enough) to adopt different types of economies? So for example with trade if a certain group of NPC's only trades in pre-apocalyptic money then you'll have to obtain some before you're able to trade? I think it would be a neat feature and kind of give a bit more depth to NPC's while also giving usage for the cash itself.

What does everyone else think about this feature? Please leave comments below and if you think it is or isn't possible to implement.

Post #51 was too offensive? Sorry, i'll just stay off these forums. Making bow and arrow is not difficult, i could make one with zero experience, so please stop making it to be some forbidden craft and asking for picture proof.

If you can't be bothered to be friendly then that's fine. If you'd read my post, you'd see there's a lot more to making a bow then one might think. Since you refuse to actually discuss the process and instead just dismiss everyone else's opinion out of hand, I'll have to ask you to stop posting in this thread. Cya round.

Prototype, there's nothing wrong with asking for evidence. Also, speaking of evidence. Rathlord, I wasn't able to get a picture of my bow but I have a friend who makes bows and she let me user hers as an example of how easy it is. It can withstand about 50 to 60 lbs of pressure (at least that's what I've been told.) Here's the bow itself.

(actually can someone tell me how to upload a pic to here from my PC?)

  11. If you don't mind me asking, could you post a picture of your bow? How many times have you fired it? Like I said before, I've tried on multiple occasions with a fair bit of foreknowledge and was not able to make a durable one.

I would but I don't have it anymore. After my grandma passed away my cousin wanted it and so I gave it to him assuming I could always make another .if it helps any we used a rather thin piece of wood and carved it out and cut it down small enough to be flexible. We then carved notches in both ends and we used a rope of some kind to turn it into a bow string. It wasn't the most powerful, not even sure it could penetrate a skull, although, it did penetrate a tree. Honestly though I didn't use that one. It was more for looks and I kept it because it was the first bow I ever made. My grandma did most of the work I just helped construct it. But she made the string so I'm not sure what process she used to make it, all I know is I tried it recently and was incapable of mimicking the process.
