EnigmaGrey
Probably because a can of beans is sold by fluid ounce instead of grams.
BoogieMan
What kind of canned beans though? I have typical baked beans in my cupboard a it would be slightly more than half a cup to equal about 170 calories. So in-game that's either a small can of beans or it's or perhaps just literally plain beans with nothing else added. Even if that were the case, a regular sized can of even plain beans would probably be more than 170 calories. That would probably be just a serving and not the whole can. Sanctus
Fact is the calories don't make sense with most of the food in game, it's unclear how much food we are actually looking at and that makes it hard to use common-sense when making survival decisions. I think it's ok that things like rice and pasta have more or less arbitrary portion sizes, but one would expect a can of beans to contain exactly one can of beans. It would be a bit strange if every can you found was only half full I only had baked beans at home, but the nutritional value of those are: 82 kcal, 13.2 g carbs, 4.9 g protein, 0.2 g fat per 100 g So a full can (415g) would be: 340 kcal, 54.8 g carbs, 20.3 g protein, 0.8 g fat
