    Dreadwood

Wait, why *can't* you have both? I have both and they seem to be running just fine....
  2. Pancakes are disgusting, I can't believe they're winning. I call shenanigans. HAX!!!!!!!!
  3. Rename it "Caiger Mall" and hold an iditarod. http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Caiger_Mall
  4. Yep. I had it working a month or so ago, so I just assumed it was the Steam thing and redownloaded it. I also tried with the old one when that didn't work. I'm using both Dreadwood and Bedford Falls, could either of those be the issue? I saw that others had used them, but I thought they just didn't appear correctly graphically. I've also got a couple of other mods (dry towels, useful bleach, dried fruit, and hide bodies), but it all plays well together until I try to throw erosion back in.
  5. I'm getting this error, and the game will just hang at the loading screen when trying to boot up a world.... I tried reinstalling just the mod, reupdating the game and then reinstalling the mod, and completely wiping the game and reinstalling everything.
  6. Jatta Pake - who you calling crazy?! You can build across the river, but it will all be on the 2nd story. Because of the perspective, you could make it look like you built a houseboat, the only problem will be accessing land (though I guess in theory if you brought enough supplies you wouldn't have to). And Falke, they seem to be working for me. You just have to be extremely careful where you're holding E in an area with multiple...exits... lol. I've gone to climb down a sheet rope only to accidentally fall to my death on the tile next to it multiple times haha.
  7. Aha! Now I remember why "Indie Stone" sounded familiar! You guys kept me playing TS3 long after I would've gotten frustrated with their retarded story progression. So....what about kidnapping that Twallan guy? Would that help with NPC creation?
  8. You can make multiple exits on a water fortress. You'd just have to use sheet ropes and make sure they hang over land.
  9. Agreed. I was all ready to make an epic water-fortress.
  10. I'm trying to make a furniture mod, and for some reason my tooltips are all messed up. Here's the code: Also, how would I go about adding in pillows and sheets to the recipe list? I'd like to use them as a material for multiple items. Would I just add them here, then change the values on all the items?
  11. I wanted to see if you could use carpentry skills to access it. I set up a sandbox game with no zombies and time ratio set to "Real Time" to find out. I created a guy named Testy McTest and spent awhile in WP gathering up supplies. After finding the first three carpentry books, a sledgehammer, axe, saw, hammer, and 20 boxes of nails, I headed over to the house. My plan was to build stairs across and knock off a piece of the roof, then drop down and see what was inside. A couple days and several hundred sawed logs later, this is what I found:
  12. I have a new 'scariest thing', though it's not ingame. I work nights at a 911 center. We get bored when no one is sick, dying, etc. so they gave us a TV. Last night was pretty quiet, so my partner and I watched a Walking Dead marathon the last few hours of the night. Went home, went to bed, had epic zombie dreams. When I woke up, my husband was gone and all the lights were off. No biggie, let me just grab my laptop, get back in bed, and play PZ. I started a new survival game, and get to sneaking through Muldraugh. I'm doing a fairly decent job of stocking up my safehouse with minimal zombie combat and generally having a good time. While I'm playing, I start hearing a weird rustling noise coming from the living room. Freaked me out a little, but whatevs, it was probably just the dogs. I go back to playing. A minute or two later, I think I see movement out of the corner of my eye. I pause the game and stare through the doorway for a minute. Nothing. Ok, must be my imagination then. Go back to playing again. Thirty seconds later, I see a humanish shape shuffling toward me from the kitchen. I freak out, gasp, and about throw my laptop across the room. ......yea. It was my husband. He had been sleeping on the couch, and when he woke up and heard PZ noises he thought he'd play a prank on me. It was a good one, but what he doesn't realize is, revenge is a dish best served cold. Also, I am killer when it comes to pranks. HE WILL PAY.
  13. Here's my latest safehouse. Not as impressive as some, but considering that I've only raided my starting house, the farmhouse, and the Lumber Mill for supplies, I think I did pretty well. The only issue I have is that bottom corner. I want to put a sheet rope leading to the outside like on the other corners, but I'm having a lot of trouble placing it (I tried forever, and when I finally got one to place it was on the inside fence instead). Any tips? I may add more deco to the outside later, but for now since I can't get rid of the tall grass it's not really worth it. Here's the map location: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.5078061359437258,0.12768992646943203,91.39774561876253
  14. Well either they reacted to that or my sneaking just happened to fail at the same moment, but they all chased me down and ate my innards
  15. Sneaking behind a hoard. One or two saw me, but I was able to get past them.....until I accidentally hit the "Q" button. Yelling "Hey, over here!" to a billion zombies was the biggest "OH f***" feeling ever.
  16. I think that it is its own unit of measurement. It doesn't make sense in lbs. either.
  17. If you reload the same world, all your stuff is exactly where you left it bro. Trust me, I've done it before. In fact, it took me 3 characters to finally settle the farmhouse the way I liked it
  18. If you're dying, put everything away in the house, then "run" (or whatever your fastest speed is) out the door and try to lure as many zombies away as possible. That way, when you spawn your next character, you can get all your supplies back and have less zombies to deal with. Sucks to be Bob Morris, but Bob Morris II has it made!
  19. Psh. Doctors. Paramedics can do most of what an ER doc can, but in a vehicle going 70mph. Just sayin'....
  20. Out of curiosity, are there any other profession mods out there? Being the EMS nerd that I am, I would love for there to be an EMT/Paramedic profession (especially since PD and FD got to be in....they always get all the love).
  21. EnigmaGrey - always making it so I have to break out my glasses
  22. I voted "I don't care". Not because I don't actually care, but because I feel like they are equally important. If PZ multiplayer is going to be anything like my Minecraft experience, I'll spend a good majority of server time playing by myself anyway, so having NPCs around will make it much more exciting.
