  2. The fun is within the challenge of trying to survive. To try and "beat" the premise of "This is how you died", to prove the developers wrong, within learning new ways of surviving and having fun while doing so. If the zombie numbers seem overwhelming, I might suggest toning down zombie's strength and/or toughness in sandbox settings along with zombie respawn (You can turn it off entirely if you so desire, and zombies will never repopulate). You can also try the "Beginner" mode. Survival (and anything within a close range of that mode) was always meant to be difficult and rewarding, at least in my opinion.

  6. I don't think so, the admin thing is there so they can enable the system but only players who deserved it could have a safehouse... But again, it'll be in test in IWBUMS, we'll see how it goes, if admin abuse it, I'll remove it, as long as everyone is fairplay, it's gonna be in You don't have to remove the system just because some admins are going to abuse this. With the way things go, there's always going to be people who own the server that don't want fair play and keep everything to themselves/ruin fun for their own entertainment. Just like some admins abuse invisibility and god mode, there will be some who abuse this thing as well, doesn't mean that you have to get rid of invisibility and god mode though, right?
  7. I'd go with stamp tool in TileZed just because of how tiresome it is to place them manually through BuildingEd. Haven't really done railroad tracks myself yet, though, so I have no idea if it's actually even possible to do with that tool.
  8. Yeah. The performance issue when approaching the prison is, unfortunately, beyond my knowledge. As far as I can tell, I had to cheat a little to have the prison spawn a ton of zombies inside the interiors, and that might be the cause of the huge performance hit upon approaching, but people have been saying that they were experiencing this even before I applied the said "cheat".

It's written in the readme, you just need to replace the files found in "steamapps/common/ProjectZomboid/media/maps/Muldraugh KY" with the ones within the archive i don't see this map in game...? i have install new denver, and i see in game. It's there, you just need to get to it. Once you install it, spawn in Muldraugh and head here http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.3754074952542851,0.18202144056182443,66.24737266949232 (You can turn on the TWD Prison overlay at the left of the link to see where exactly you need to go)

  13. You know you play too much Zomboid when you literally stand 2 and a half hours near the oven, watching your food cook, just in case it decides to start burning.
  14. Quick learner - for the amount of positive results it brings (Basically a trait that nearly gets you back to the old leveling up speed), it costs very little. If it's intended to stay as such, I'm fine with it, but I'd love to see it's cost increased.
  15. The ultimate problem with the end game is the fact that people get to it. No matter how much activities you add in the long run, sooner or later you'll get bored of them and will want more.

Translation issues : Messages like "Wave %1 finished in %2" etc, that flash in the middle of screen after each wave does not translate properly (All I see are just random numbers, no words at all). Probably something to do with the font not being compatible, similar issue to the old "Survived for" message. "Are you sure you want to delete that character?" tab when you want to delete the old Last Stand character isn't translated. All of the permanent boosts that you are capable of buying in a "Player" tab (Blunt lvl 1, Blade lvl 1, Carpentry lvl 1, 5% Gold gain bonus, +20% starting gold, 5% XP gain bonus), as well as the "XP" word under the name could use a translation.

  20. Recently got myself into playing Garry's mod again, and I painfully gotta admit that I've quite missed all of it's available tools for creating these great screenshots, as well as the ease of access to the workshop.

Working on translating new stuff for latest builds, I've encountered a few things : "Trousers" in character creation screen, under the "Clothing" section does not translate, unlike the rest of the clothing items that are available for choosing. When trying to cook, the evolved recipe does not work well with the names (It might be a problem on my part, although translationproblems.txt did not find an error anywhere within the file)
  24. I am not a tech savvy and you've probably already gone through the same process, but I'd still share some of my brainstorm. I've looked through items.txd and found the parameter "WeaponSprite = Handgun," Then I searched for "handgun" and found "Objects_handgun" + "weapons_handgun.txd". inside "weapons_handgun.txd" I've also found a parameter "# Model Name: weapons_handgun" What if, in theory, you copy-paste all of these files and make a new model name out of existing files. For example - weapons_handgun1, and change the "weapons_handgun" to "weapons_handgun1"? Would it, in theory, allow you to spawn a new weapon in items.txd that uses a different weapon sprite by specifying "WeaponSprite = Handgun1,"? Or should I just stick to suggesting baseless and impossible ideas, supporting it up with wall of text to make it seem reasonable?
  25. Previous versions contained Vanilla and Last Stand versions of the prison. Now that Last Stand was replaced with Challenges, I didn't see a reason to continue working on Last Stand version, therefore Vanilla only
