  1. Really looking forward to this, along with the next stable desura build. I'm playing these "inbetween" builds and it doesn't feel right without your mod. Good luck with that to-do list! haha
  2. Congrats nasKo! But does this mean you/he will be on the Indiestone forums less because he's on the Steam forums?
  3. Ooh, empty cans! Nice addition (no sarcasm intended).
  4. Haha, this is pretty cool! Tbh, when this mod comes out I'll be switching between vanilla and this because both have downsides/upsides. Turn-based, ruins the "panic" as players will essentially be able to pause the game and plan their next step. Real-time, combat against human AI will be very clunky/robotic (at least in beginning stages). In the beginning stages of human AI, I'll only use "turn-based" if it comes into play purely against human AI, as to keep that panic when a hoard of zombies comes chasing you. In the later stages of human AI however, I don't know what version I would play. That is when. . . The real war "Turn-based vs. Real-time" begins!
  5. I've got: "Many a" | something, something, | "a muckle" Not 100% sure about that last bit, but it's a word! Anyone else? haha
  6. Cool find! Although I do hope the reference is something a bit more interesting..
  7. I google'd Cortman Medical, and it said "did you mean cortland medical?". Does that mean anything? haha
  8. I <3 you debugger. Bug fixes seem to be much faster! (I know the debugger was announced a few weeks ago, but i couldn't comment until we saw it in action) On a side note, I didn't know the "square of light" surrounding the player was a bug. I mean, I thought it was wierd, but it stood out so much (in low quality) that I thought "if they aren't fixing it, then they must want it in game" and I left it at that. Can't wait to see what the (eventual) stable desura build will look like!
  9. "proper modding system" ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This is a great addition! Sometimes i forget which mods are installed and I have to go through all the folders and check.. (>.< hassle..) Too bad I don't see this persuading those who find "installing" mods to be difficult into using them; it sure does help us current users a lot though! Maybe one day we could have a modding system like in Don't Starve... (one main mod folder, within that folder each individual mod is located in it's own folder) Then maybe more people would use them!
  10. Wow, this looks great! And thanks to JJStorm! I really hope we'll be able to implement our own sprites into the game soon, yours pretty good. Also, it just does justice to all of these weapon mods. I hate* the fact that all of my "special" weapons from mods, all look like regular bats. *Okay, hates a strong word, but still..
  11. Invisi-wall bug "CERTAINLY" fixed? *pop* Champagne for everyone! (Please don't make this a waste of an invisible champagne bottle...)
  12. I believe that you can't do this in the game atm, but the developers plan to implement a corpse cleaning sort of thing one day.
  13. Moved on from "Papers Please!" (Great game), now playing La-Mulana. Old-school, pixely, metroidvania, perma-death, HARD. I read reviews and saw that it was hard, but I didn't expect it to be THIS hard. There are almost no hints at all (to find out the controls I had to go to options, keybindings), no explanation as to how to "win" or even open treasure chests, haha. I am currently loving this difficulty though, makes the game more fun. (There's one hut with a village elder in it who in the beginning explains to you who you are and why you're there. If youenter and exit the hut he says different things every time. If you're like me and are hoping for a hint, he eventually will be seen playing a video game saying "This game has TOO many hints. Now where's the fun in that?")
  14. Oh okay, I get what you're saying now. Hopefully one of the modders will pick this up!
  15. Maybe it's just me, but the "athletic" trait meets my running demand fairly well.
  16. Urr, didn't know what it was, google'd it, saw one screenshot, realized it wasn't my kind of game. Sorry!
  17. Ooh a tutorial (let's test my ignorance), and the "little icon" isn't too bad either. A small update, but very useful. "More being added later." Whoops!

    RIP Wall

This is what I was (trying) to say! I don't want the RIP wall to be a scoreboard. I don't think Project Zomboid is a game about having the most zombies killed, or the longest survival time; it's more of a game about the experience you have. If an RIP wall is to be included it should include basic information as TinnedEpic said, and just for safety purposes not be categorized by "time survived" on default. Having it sorted that way will insinuate that the purpose of the game is to simply live for a long time. (say hello to the many players idling in their houses, reading books, going outside only to tend to their garden and collect from the rain barrel) Maybe some people like to idle in their house, aim for the highest time, but I don't want any new players to be mislead into thinking the only goal of the game is to "live" and do things like that.
  19. Enigma pointed out in another thread that devs said basements would be in the game one day. Add to the list?
  20. They do. One day. I don't remember hearing about this, but I hope it's true. It would open up so many new possibilities/situations. In a basement; zombies coming down the sole flight of stairs. Your only way of escape is one of those tiny half size windows aaand you get stuck.
  21. "For those of you who aren't sure what the following means: "Add code to require Hammer and Screwdriver to "unstick" safety, because it gets jammed after using it as a blunt weapon." Let's create a make-believe situation. You whip a zombie with your pistol. The zombie dies after a few swings, but leaves behind its skin and the like on your shiny gun. Your shiny gun is now filled with all sorts of gunk. Unless you have a hammer and a screwdriver to fix your gun, you will not be able to fire. Want this in the game? Then vote for said option above."
  22. You posted this in the "WIP, Work In Progress Section" so I'm just wondering, what else to you plan to implement into the game? Also, just judging from the video, it seems like the flare when shooting a weapon is positioned a bit strangely (albeit too low maybe?). And things like "Ched's Mind" and the other texts (see video at 37 seconds), don't look like they fit into the game graphics-wise.
  23. Me too! Well worth the money. PS There's nothing I can really say about it that hasn't been on some review site.
  24. Thanks a lot kinyoshi! You are a mod-slinging machine!
