  1. It seems to be happening every time I do anything... I have no arrays at all, I am using the OnKeyPressed and OnMouseDown events.
  2. How come only I have this problem (again)? Wtf is JavaAppLauncher? It's not only you. Several other Mac users (probably all of the ones in this group except for the people I helped) have. The old version of PZ for OS X was bundled with JavaApplicationStub. That's a form of executable file that starts the JVM and runs the game. Since Apple designed JVM 6 for OS X (not Oracle), JavaApplicationStub was specific to Apple JVM's (which stopped at 6 when Oracle took over). With the help of EasyPickens, I updated the App Bundle for OS X so it would use Oracle's Java 7. This fixes several issues we've had and gets the launcher working for us flawlessly. Java 7 JVM for OS X is made by Oracle (rather than Apple) and uses their own proprietary executable- the JavaAppLauncher. Steam only allows us to point to *one* executable for the entire game, on all of the branches. So since the public version hasn't been updated yet, we have to leave this one broken for OS X until it's ready for release. In the mean time, we can play on this build by using the JavaAppLauncher directly. I made a video showing how to get to it (which happens to also be the way to get Console/Terminal output for OS X). EnigmaGrey told me it was only me, that's why I was worried. Or maybe it was RoboMat. Thanks anyway.

  4. Java is included with the game.Installing things doesn't affect it. I highly doubt that. It never worked without Java 6 installed, it doesn't work at all now. Java is included with the game.Installing things doesn't affect it. I've had to repeat this several hundred times for Windows users -- please, don't make me do it again for you. I don't care about Windows, installing Java did affect it before. If Java is included with it, then fix it.

  6. I installed Java 7 and it still doesn't work :/
  7. Yes, but I also have all kinds of Java crap installed, like... java 1.6, 7, 8 beta, etc. We were trying to solve the Java 7 problem for weeks in the past (if you remember), attempting to force PZ use that instead of 1.6, but it always ended up using Java 6 and when I removed Java 6, it didn't launch with 7. Doesn't work with the above changes. Have you changed hardware since then? From what I can remember, the crux of your problem was that you didn't couldn't upgrade from 10.6, and thus had no way of installing a newer officially supported Java package. My machine never had 10.6 installed (when I bought it, it had Lion).

  9. Latest. The game experience didn't get much worse tbh xD (sarcasm)
  10. It doesn't even start running on my Macbook. A message appears saying that it failed to launch, this is what I get in console: 2014.02.06. 21:00:52,982 steam[29632]: spawn_via_launchd() failed, errno=22 label=com.projectzomboid.10768 path=/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/ProjectZomboid/Project Zomboid.app/Contents/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub flags=0
  11. Rathlord has walked you through this in the past. The crash origins from the insanely low performance and lagging, so to be honest I see no reason to check the error log. Also, there is no 'crash report', since it doesn't actually crash, just lag to death so I have to killall it.You mean to say that "There is no crash -- I abort the process?" Even if that's the case, there might well be console output that could indicate why the problem gets worse over time. Though, I have to admit, having performance range from 0 to 30 is itself circumspect, as the game tends to hit a specific mark and stay there -- even if it doesn't feel that way (for example, when the game was low-performing on my system, it remained around 15 - 18 fps).I'm not at all complaining, just saying that since I bought this game (on desura, it was maybe 2.9.9.10?) performance has just been getting worse and worse and slowly made me not play at all, absolutely no enjoyment, just coding some stuff here and there. I know it's not your fault and performance has improved to a lot of people, but for me, it just didn't work out ^^.

  13. Any options, FPS is completely random from 0 to 30, console is not working for Macs.
  14. Still unplayable lag and random crashes :[
