To be honest... I would first have to check westpoint out myself to see what is missing for me and what would be a nice addition the the upcoming state of the map.

I think it would be interesting to have smaller, more focused areas: like a prison camp, government base, etc.  Compounds that could take up a much larger area than the current buildings, but smaller than a whole new town.

Well, we do not know how the new map will look with West Point added (at least I don't), maybe there will be cool ideas for the new space that is between west point and our current map.

Wilderness areas and the current area map fleshed out more. Then once the engine stuff is done go onto NPCs, cars and the other stuff they mentioned is coming.

As toehrs have said. They have people focusing on different areas as not everyones a coder anyway. So it's great to hear about future content like this coming whilst the code stuff is being worked on.

Have you read through the fantastic suggestions by some (anonymous) forum goer here: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/1144-the-future-of-pz/
If so, what did you think?

I have some questions! Two, to be precise.

    1) Looking WAY in the future, I know you're keen to implement vehicles of some variety, and I think that's going to be increasingly important given the sheer size of the map & distance to West Point. What pitfalls/hurdles can you foresee with implementing vehicles - what will be very difficult to do, or even impossible to do? And if you've thought about it yet - which kinds of vehicles do you think you'll implement, and why?

    2) Let's look to the future again. After the new engine stuff has been done, and this build has been polished and put up on Steam, and work on the NPCs resumes... What little feature is each individual member of the Indie Stone most looking forward to working on? I'm hoping for a more specific answer than just "the NPCs," if possible!

    1. Has working on Project Zomboid been more stressful than you expected and has it been worth it?

    2.  Is there a bunch of secret features that you arent going to tell us about and make us find them ourselves?

Have you planned on what will be your next larger endeavor after NPCs and the 3D stuff is in? Or in other words, do you have somewhat a linear plan on what you will be doing in the more distant future, or is it a scramble?
Mash: How did the run go (presuming this is answered on monday or sunday)? And also what's the next map project you'll be working on, now that's West Point is done?

    1) How much is planned for actual survival techniques in the future? I trained with the Royal Marines for 6 months and we did a survival exercise in dartmoor where we met survival experts (super human tough lads) where we was shown things like solar stills, creating fire with just sticks and strings, making shelter out of whatever was around, killing and preparing a chicken with your bare handstand, purifying dirty water naturally... the list continues!
    2) is wind going to be implemented into the weather system? because that plays a challenge against survival and moral! That's speaking on experience with wet clothes on a winters night! And surprisingly on a summers night with wet clothes...
    3) does TIS know how truly awesome PZ really is?
