I know that feelin' I agree that system MUST be revised. ex: zombies will attack a certain part of the wall if you are behind that part of the wall and making enough noise to attract nearby zedz... instead of: ex; Player X is sleepin' on second floor and down below on the other side of the house zedz pass by; "oh hey a new wall... let's go fuck his shit up now ! ''

Have you met a depressive person before? They literally don't care about themselves and are out for a deathwish most of the time, depression should be a HUGE factor in a game like this, it should be something you want to keep away at all cost, something that if you got it in your character, you are going to be in deep shit. Depression is not feeling bad one day and then go jogging and cutting wood, depression fucks your psyche up so bad you don't want to eat, get out of bed or even speak to your loved ones, hell even wanting to die in your sleep is one of the things they wish for. Depression should fuck you up if you don't manage it well, one thing is having long periods of unhappiness and other is just plain out depressed. I have lost friends and uncles to depression, that is why i kinda know what are they capable of when in that state, thought all of them, they all just wanted to die deep down inside and all of them did in some way or another. (Hang themselves, anti-depressive overdose with alcohol, got ran over by a car because he didn't felt the need to run and died and others) And we are speaking in a world where shit is bad but at least your negibour/son/girlfriend or best friend is not a walking corpse trying to eat you. Emm, yea. I officially have depression, and i don't want to die or something like that, i'm just sad by most of the time (i'm thinking too much about things that i can't control, and btw i have 120 IQ ((but i'm 14 years old, so you know, IQ isn't the knowledge, this is why my english may be a little crappy)), so.... i'm sad because i'm thinking too much ;d), but i agree with "friends don't want to eat you" part though. And thinking about killing yourself when you're in bed is something another than defending yourself when some corpses want to eat you. I think that person with super-depression would still defend yourself (survival instinct or a simple reaction). EDIT I'm actually enjoying a lot of things, for example i like watching some fun guys like SeaNanners, PewDiePie (and another guys from my country that you wouldn't know anyway), playing games or talking with people. But you know - that's just me, there is a lot of people that are sad 100% of time. Then i don't know what kind of depression you have. The one i am talking about is the one of losing a love one, shit hitting the fan so bad that you see no escape, the death of a close one and just the feeling of loneliness and hopeless of a better day tomorrow. In a world where like i said shit is not looking or ever will look good, where every day you might die, where people you loved and everything you once loved is lost and you might see their rotten body walking in the streets, the will to live should be the light in the dark that you wan to keep for as long as possible. Look at how people live their lives right now, dunno how reliable this source is (http://www.healthline.com/health/depression/statistics-infographic), 80% of people have some sort of depression without treatment (i hate pulling sources from websites). I guess you are really getting treatment, but mid to severe depression is the one i am speaking about that causes you dont wanting to get out of bed or the feeling of begin tired all the time. Yup thats exactly the one we are talkin' about and you're stereotyping how depressive people, in YOUR opinion, should and/or are... *leaves thread*

Do you really think that begin depressed needs a upper? Yes I do. it also allows you to enjoy thinks more. I know me havin' been through many years of severe depression became very silently and unnoticed. That would be a great upper IG to be silent and unnoticed or less noticeable, which, will add up separately from the inconspicuous trait.

You totally know you play too much PZomboid when in the morning you back up to the side of your door before opening it in case a Zombie Outbreak occurred during the night ps; happened to me this morning before coming out of my room xD I was like 'wtf man you play way too much zombie games'

I usually take the following negative traits for various reasons: Hearty Appetite & High Thirst -> Because of the points it gives, the realism it adds to my plays' and because a strong & athletic man/lady, IMO, needs a lot of nutrients fuel to remain so. Slow Healing & Slow Reading -> Slow Healing just makes it so much more realistic wise and slow reading because IMO it's a freebie all you have to do is Fast Forward. I do not take slow reading on MP though. Disorganized -> Again REALISM, and the extra points and it makes the game more challenging. e.g IUn real life, from true experience, I'm able to transport one 3' log at a time, yet IG you can transport up to 9 Logs if you wield one in each slot, 3 in your Alice Pack and 6 in your inventory (includes the wielded ones). Hemophobic -> because by Real Life experience, malheureusement, i've witnessed too many times how victims of injuries will panic and/or fall into shock when injured. So it just makes more sense and ads challenge & realism to the game to have a panicking character whilst performing first aid. Weak Stomach -> Freebie if you never eat semi-rotten to completely rotten foods. sometimes i will take Short Sighted & Hard-Of-Hearing for the extra needed points and because it doesn't hurt much of my gameplay. I would take Pacifist usually on RP Servers to make my character weaker over time (strong perk but gets weaker when using weapons, not when using barehands) MY UPPERS :D Strong & Athletic -> Title says it all.... sometimes I think it is OP'ed.. so I'd go down a notch to FIT & STOUT with Firefighter Class. Cats EYES... I hate not being able to see a bit in the dark and I still use a flashlight most of the times with this perk. LUCKY.... I use this especially on RP servers or if I am playin' survival without the Hydrocraft mod. If with the Hydrocraft mod in SP I will not take Lucky, if MP RP server with Hydrocraft mod I will still take it because of the servers settings. Thick Skinned -> sometimes... Carpenter.... for the first lvl if I don't have it with the class I choose. Inconspicuous, IMO, is broken... or just plain useless. I think that pretty much sums it up for me.

Unhappy slows down inventory transferring, unpacking, etc... It slows down chopping wood, accuracy and strength when fighting the undead. It also slows down healing, *to be confirmed* If I've noticed it right. I think they'res enough repercussions for being a depressed survivor. What we, IMO, actually need is it to have at least ONE upper ! ,e.g. like being more silent hence more inconspicuous?

nope Doesn't matter, it's pretty bad Though it DOES show burning water. Nope, but Ive seen Wyrmwood (2015) where the zombies create flammable gazes during the day only, and the normal gazes fuel dont work anymore so they hook up their cars to the zombies mouths to fuel the cars.

Hey, so our server might be soft wiped soon and I know that all the containers will be emptied of its current loot and replaced by x industrial loot. the server has to do this because of a mod sorta nuked other players items from their containers. I don't want too loose my hard earned food, meds supplies etc... heres the question Placing loot in a bag and placing this bag on the ground before the servers SOFT WIPE. Will the bag and its contents still be there afterwards ? Thank you !

Apprently it is my mod and some item is missing. I have narrowed it down to the following items. Let me know if you had any of these. - Saltpeter - Grass - Oak Leaves - Bark - Birch Bark - Willow Branch - Pine Bough - Zombie Bones - Stone Arrowhead - Cow Poop I suspect it might be the Bark and/or Birch Bark since I changed them into a food item instead of a normal item. Modded Tiby mentioned it is highly probably the BARK item that creates mass disruption in players bases if they had it. CHICKEN COOOOOOOOOPSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :D thanks Hydro! Now all you need to mod up is a RPG, a Grenade Launcher and a Controlable Predator Drone

In survival you are starting in the year 1993 on at the start of the infection. Same thing for the sandbox mode.. It is a good idea that the zedz would be less frequent the first day. but lets say that was it. then it would be too easy to eliminate the whole treat and prevent the mass apocalypse.... good idea though

Hey Hydromancerx... So the wiki only has one item in it and the other one is extremely old.... is there any guide or list that explains how some of the stuff are to be used: ex: foraging -> hickory nuts how do I eat those darn things . Thank you !
