The fix is setting your FPS limiter to something that works, such as 30 FPS. The game's happy-zone really is 30 FPS on most systems.
Yes. but what if we have the capable hardware and wish to play on 60fps?
I know that fixes it, but games at 60fps just feel so much crisper and reponsive. especially in a game like this where you need such fast reflexes to not gain an eventually fatal strike or whathaveyou -

If the slow downs aren't being caused by a drop in FPS then its due to a quirk with the games engine, It try's to draw a frame slower that your GPU can process it or something along those lines. I've experienced this issue in the past when trying to play at 60FPS, if you change the FPS limiter in the option to 30FPS that should fix your problem. I've had this issue in the past but currently I've not got it, it seems to be temperamental and appears when it fancy's it, try fiddling with some of the option if you want higher than 30FPS that might fix it as well.
Can the devs get on this?
Can it even be fixed? -
Where is this helicopter flying to and from?
And how has it withstood the millions of zombies it attracts?

And the average joe is quite gone as we have specific profession now, such as the electrician or engineer capable of doing bombs and explosives
It's not any character who'll be able to forge, you'll need to have the trait or profession, and if not, find a mighty books about blacksmith and hope it's the one that teach you what you need (there's several new recipes, you could have a book on how to forge metal knives but not how to build a stone furnace to melt metal!)
Metal walls are planned yeah, like the one you see in Alexendira in TWD (in less tall version :D), fences too, metal gates are a good ideas along with the others things you suggested
If you think about other suggestion go for it, I'll try to read this thread as soon as I can to gather some cool ideas
Reinforce doors/windows is already possible with those metal barricade I tweeted, tho metal sheet to barricade require lot of blacksmith skills! Beginner items are more screws, nails, paperclip, spoon, fork, etc...
High-end blacksmith could forge bullets tho... (but be carefull to gather this quite rare gunpowder!).
Oh also, putting petrol in the metal drums looks like a really good idea! Gonna do that tomorrow
Metal drum are here to act as a rain collector barrel (but a big one) and you can also do charcoal in them (with logs, it require lot of time/ressources tho), because the stone furnace need to be run on coal and not logs (to provides more heat)
How about..
Making it so metal behaves diffidently with damage.
unlike wood, metal can't shatter or slightly crack,You can't break it by hitting it not hard enough for a long time
It has no fibers to break over time
Thus, instead of being accumulating damage,
A bunch of zombies or a very large force *such as a truck wench being attached to it and flooring it in the opposite direction*
Would be there to bend it back to where it is enterable (or in the truck case rip it off the building)
Not just another level to upgrade barricades.
But totally impenetrable to single and low amounts of zombies.
However if a horde comes along they in unison can exert the force needed to dent and bend the metal out of place. And unlike wood, you cant just rip metal off and replace it once it's messed up.
You have to get a powersaw and cut it off to replace it.
Which the grinding will produce A LOT of noise. -

Its purely for cosmetic "cool" purposes
Or, better yet
They let you run a generator indoors without dying or let you go into a burning building to try and put it out or to retrieve belongings without dying of smoke inhalation.

while i think some zombie should have different strength and abilities, this is too overboard and predictable.
I mean, like as you'd expect, a male zombie will hit and grab more powerfully than a female.
But a female is more likely to try and seek protection by othersthus they're more likely to be bitten and turn, rather than just get swallowed in a swarm.
Thus females would sometimes happen be more intact, and thus have better speed.
I do like the idea of zombies falling into shit, getting locked in wardrobes, ect.
I also think some zombies should be better than others.
Say a zombie that JUST reanimated, it should be stronger, faster, and smarter than any other kind because it's the closest analogue to a living human, the least decayed.

The game looks so HD now
I'd like to see the zombies looking a bit more dirty and bloody,
i dunno, their white clothes looked awfully clean and fresh than what i'd expect XD
Also,
Does this mean zombies with face covers (surgical masks, motorcycle helmets, ect.
Can't bite you?
I think that'd be a great addition honestly.Moreso on that,
Will thicker and or stronger clothing grant you more safety?
I mean, Like Swat armor>firefighter jacket> leather jacket>SweaterTo where it drops the chance of an enemy every time they do the attack actually inflicting an injury like a bite or scratch?

Yes, this is perfect!
also perhaps make slow sprinters run somewhat slower than your character with no exertion.
It'd actually give you a fighting chance!
As it stands, spinters are Insanely OP
It'd make sense because zombies wouldn't use proper running techniques. They'd be flinging their legs wildly across the ground.

Is this public build ever gonna be retracted or is it gonna just keep gaining momentum until the full release of the update?
I don't wanna invest into a save just to have it taken away XD
Additionally, do we actually have meters or is this just some twisted guessing game of "Guess what kind of thing you need, or die!"
And why is everyone talking about the nutritional value of earthworms?
-
does this work in build 33?
-
are the colored lights still in? i heard they were removed.
-
It isn't a bunch of greasy peasants shoveling coal into a furnace XD
it uses backhoes and bulldozers. and they burn through coal SUPER fast.
There's no way in hell one man could upkeep an entire plant
It's just too big and there's too much work for one man.

Mod please delete this.
This is the issue with having multiple tabs.
A suggestion in the suggestions tab?
Oh sure this is in the wrong tab.
I have about 70 tabs open and i had a tab with the same site on.
Honestly it makes no sense why we can't just delete our own posts.

I'd like the sandbox option of them ignoring gunshots and alarms and such.
It could possibly make sense.
They would only be listening for frequencies humans make, such as that of a human voice, scream, or breath.
It could be an explanation why they will stand still even with birds chirping, and why they don't freak out during thunderstorms.
Or you know, a suppressor mod.
OR, devs, a compromise would be let us forage for rocks anywhere and be able to collect hundreds, and throw the rocks to distract zombies. Or throw them reallly hard at a zombie's head, it'll sap stamina really quick, but with big enough rocks it would work.

The only thing I know from what I've seen is that the military must be low on nuclear weapons, as per all modern zombie lore the military MUST nuke ground zero so as to kill all the undead with radiation...
Wait, has that worked before? Oh well! What's that worst that can happen?
Radioactive fallout coating half of the midwest... That can happen.
Even if the zombie threat was anihilated, the consequenses of radiation would be HORRIFFIC.
However radiation will kill a zombie.
Hell, it'll fuck up corpses as much as it does living people.
singing flesh, Radioactive particles piercing every cell, blasting through DNA strands and mucking them up, ect.

they are not blowed up dude, just the projectile
, thank you jericosh
Have you ever seen a spent cartrige?
It's dented and expanded beyond the size of the projectile.
A shotgun shell just becomes shredded in the front.
-
Technically this is balanced.
the parts should be normally common, and craftable from even more common materials (COUGHCARPARTSCOUGH)Literally you can make this off of a welder, the pipes and engine parts of a few cars, a few metal barrels, the alternator of one of said cars, and some scrap sheet metal and a hammer, and you can make one of these.
a rudimentary one, but still.

Well IWBUMS Is imminent.
I predict if not this weekend, the next.
The latest mondoid said it was mostly some touch up work and then it's ready for shipping.
-
Bullet shells kind of.... Blow up... when fired...
You can't just "Refill and reuse" them.

alot of buildings seem to be broken.
As in doors that open into solid walls, windows that have the open sprite when closed, and the broken sprite when open, ect.
If you could look into that i'd be grateful.Thanks.
I'll edit in the coords tomorrow to the neighborhood that has the most, i'm too busy right now to go look for the neighborhood on the map. -
We already do that.
If you are paying attention a zombie directly behind you should be seeable and hearable.
-
Could you make a mod that enables you to lock all windows and be able to lock doors and unlock doors from the inside of them, regardless if you have the key?
Sorry if it sounds demanding, i'm just never gonna get anywhere asking the devs to do it, at least not anytime soon.
Anyways,
Will these npcs be effected by bites and zombificaiton?

These should be immune to zombie thumping, as in, it won't take damage from being hit, unless with sledgehammers(Which will take like 2 hours and be super loud) or being disassembled with tools.
The only way to breach one, in my opinion, would be to A. blow a hole in it with a bomb. B. Ram it with a Truck. C. Have hundreds of zombies in unison crumple it over.
Also...
Does this mean we'll be able to make swords? Like, european-kind of swords.
It'd be nice to give us the option to try at least.
Even if the crude things we make aren't the best, i'm sure anyone who had the option would try.
