  1. Not sure if its the font or just some of the colours, but sometimes its hard to read, at least at high resolution (1920x1000). Also the sound of the alarms is awesome!!! but maybe a little too loud (headphones 7.1), maybe drop it down 1db or 2db max

  3. Server is back up and running. To Keep playing your characters, you need to change the name of your character folder c:\users\"youruser"\Zomboid\Multiplayer If you use the deathanddecay.con-ip.com adress as the ip you have a folder named like (deathanddecay.con-ip.com_16261_"charname") if this is the case, just change the number 16261 for 16311. If you use the normal ip 192.162.26.37 (old), you have a folder like 192.162.26.37_16261_"charname". In this case you need to change it by changing the last ip number 37 for 15 and the port number for 16311 192.162.26.15_16311_"charname". So old ip 192.162.26.37 and old port 16261. New ip 192.162.26.15 and new port 16311.
  4. Server will be down for the next 18 hours or so. Im doing some maintenance, and also the server has changed the ip number and the port. Will post some intructions tomorrow for the characters after i can do some tests. And the map will be rollbacked around last week. Update: Having some issues with the changes, working on it Sorry for the inconveniences.
  5. Sorry didnt understand right what you mean by Alt-Characters. Maybe implementing some SteamID whitelist, apart from the player name whitelist, could do the trick.

  7. When Creative Mode hits, they are working on RNG parts of the map for it, like houses and streets, check the latest mondoids . So maybe not a RNG procedural in game map, but a pre X-Y number of tiles RNG map that you can play on, can be a thing someday.
  8. "/additem Player Base.Item 5" gives you 5 items You can set the corpse time to dissapear fast, also in the admin tools dbrumm has posted it has a delete corpse right click option. Claiming tool would be nice to have. What you want to freeze? use "/teleport player1 player2" to teleport 1 to 2. hope it helps

Ok so thats a no-steam server, the ProjectzomboidServer file that comes with the game, if you want a steam server follow the instructions here http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/16360-released-build-3227/ After that, when you have the Server Console window, for the first time it asks for an admin password, put any one you like, put it a second time, and the server runs for first time, making all the files you need, then close it. Now in you c:/users/"you user"/zomboid/server there should be 5 files named (servertest_*.*) those are your server config files, you can use the pzserversettings app that comes with the game (the one on your sshot) to easily modify it.   13. The respawn its set at 2 months, mostly for new players, so they can have a start. Being an open/public server i think its better for gameplay. Apocalypse here started only 5 months ago (in game time). We are a Soft RP server, but i try to encourage people to act their characters. Also in this matter, by being a public server, some people just enter without knowing the rules or just cause the server was on the list. If you want a Hardcore RP experience i think the best place to go is New Dawn.

Hi there Striker, yeah my plan for the server is to be a whole community around and do some things together like a map when build 33 comes up, for the game part this days there are a couple of communities and some players regrouped in houses, i think most of them are friendly, and we dont have any villiains around yet, so you are most welcome to survive our huggy friends, and find a place with us that you can call home
  15. Is it dead? I think now is more alive than ever, last build the game merged with steam, and at this very moment there are 4 branches merging together with awesome new features coming for the next already anounced no ETA build 33. So... what's really the question here?
  16. Not sure if it helps but, heres another one for just now And another one And another one... A short one, last days it seems its going better, at least crashes are more spaced in time.

I have this crashes several times a day, but i havent find a patternt yet, some times when a player log in, new or old char, other times just with people in it, in a range from 1 to 11 eleven that ive seen, also the errors are different when appears, this is the last one: Had another one when posting this
  19. Just had another crash. If anyone have any clues on what can be causing this, many times it happens when a player just log in. Thread dump, after just rebooted it.

  23. I dont want a super big project to start building maps, so for now its a 3x3 tiles map, and yeah thats a road bridge to connect it to main land.
