Well, thinking about that report, realistically, is it more food than your standard city? You have to consider future builds will have NPCs who will also be hungry, and balancing it on multiplayer will actually reduce the amount of rebalancing needed for NPCs in the future.

Food got balanced for MP but now there is way too much for SP.

 

I'd think that an entire city would have a lot of food.

 

Besides, even if there is a lot of food eventually it will turn rotten and your supply of non-perishables will deplete in time.

I'm not aware of any food rebalance anyway.

 

You can eat 1/2 or 1/4 amounts.  It seems to make the food last a lot longer.

 

You used to eat 1/4 then 1/4 of 3/4 and so forth, so it's now apparently 1/4 of the base food amount always meaning it'd be less food than before.
