Tiles

Tileset images

These are the same tilesets released on February 16.

For Windows

TileZed + WorldEd 32-bit

TileZed + WorldEd 64-bit

The 32-bit version of WorldEd seems unable to load all the tilesets due to high memory usage, displaying ??? for some tiles.

Linux

TileZed + WorldEd 64-bit

This was built on Ubuntu 20 and won't work with older versions of glibc.

If WorldEd is crashing when opening cells, try turning off the "Use hardware-accelerated drawing (OpenGL)" option.

TileZed changes

  • Added FloorFurniture layer for rugs in BuildingEd.
  • Draw a rectangle for ItemHeight and Surface properties in the tile properties editor.
  • Added a warning when a tile uses an undefined enum property value.

WorldEd changes

  • Added View > Show Zones In World View menu option.
  • Added display of the zombie-spawn image in the world view.
  • Added 'Split Object Polygon' command to the Cell menu.

new FloorFurniture layer in the latest map editor conflicts with the old BuildingFurniture.txt. And causes tile mode to lock in floor layer (no matter what layer you choose, it always replace the floor layer)image.thumb.png.01afaee17682ccbbdf4c2bb512661079.png

I updated the ZIP files with a fix for the Layers dock not working in BuildingEd.

If you see this, it means you ran the new version of TileZed and then tried to use the old version.  In this case, you must delete the files in C:\Users\XXX\.TileZed.

I'm getting that BuildingFurniture.txt error. What files do I need to delete in C:\Users\XXX\.TileZed.? I tried deleting everything and PZWorldEd gets an error while opening.

Unsure why I've been getting this error and I apologize if this is a common one but I'm getting 'blends_natural_01_080' and I can't seem to get it fixed. Any help greatly appreciated!

There are lots of issues with this itteration of the WorldEd.

Beginning with this issue, which hinders someone from actually progressing:

Tried the March version, same issue there.

No clue how to fix this, as there are no other files to replace it with.

Tried using bitmaps, PNG and GIF. Nothing works to solve this issue on my end.

Try running TileZed and use the Tools > Tilesets menu option to display the Tilesets dialog which will update the Tilesets.txt file.  I think this issue is caused by the incorrect tileset size for blends_natural_01.

Thank you, working now!

Why wont Worlded load tiles but everything else will

You need to set your tiles folder in WorldEd to the same tiles folder you set up in Tilezed.

In WorldEd go to Edit and then Preferences, then in the "tiles directory" section make sure the tiles folder you downloaded with the tools is selected and not the "2x" folder inside of it, once done close both worlded and tilezed and then restart them and you should see the issue is fixed.

its pretty easy to do this in photoshop, just make a layer and and paint where u want zombies. then change the image down by removing the last 0 at the end of the image size. save and you have the updated file. I can make a video on this if you or anyone else wants.

Will be better if we can change zombie spawn dynamically and see visually on the map in the same time when we add tiles or objects to the map etc.

Hi

I'm sorry if this has been answered in a different thread but I couldn't find it.

I'm working in building-ed and trying to place the hydraulic car lift tiles in the "location_business_machinery_01.png" tileset, but it is missing along with a few other pngs in the tileset folder in the above download.

I have tried adding the tiles through Building>Tiles window but these just come up blank. What am I missing here?

Thanks

Ah Nevermind. After finding the thread below and some playing about with the tool. I realised I just had to drag the desired tiles into the empty spaces. I had assumed just clicking the tile then clicking the + button would add the tile.

Silly me

Run Tilezed first, it will create the needed file.

Even after downloading this Tileset there are some tiles missing. This is using the steam Project Zomboid Modding Tools as well as the Windows 64 bit TileZed and WorldEd
