  1. That's fine, two legs versus four wheels sounds fair to me. I've got the keys, so VroomVroom...
  2. So... Pancakez. Yumm.. You wouldn't mind if I cover you in delicious butter and spread Canadian Mable Syrup all over you while I put you between my cheeks for consumption, do you?
  3. This thread is 11 pages long.. Is that a testament to the IQ of the forum?
  4. If your setting up a stand to sell watered down lemonade in plastic cups on your local street, then I may be willing to give you the necessary starting capital to kickstart the whole thing. 15 quid for the cups 2 quid for the lemonade One hose connected to a sink
  5. With Payday 2 set for release tomorrow, I reckon I'll be playing that whenever I get the chance for the foreseeable future.
  6. Where in New Vegas can you get power armor and a God weapon like the fatman as fast as you can in Fallout 3? In Fallout 3, and New Vegas, power armor training is required to actually equip it. You get this training from Gunny at the Citadel or doing the Anchorage quests, so it ain't that quick at all. For Fatman, the first one you get is during the quest going towards Galaxy News Radio, and I believe you only get something like 3 or 4 nukes to take out the Behemoth that attacks. Nukes aren't that common and I wouldn't call it a 'god weapon' at all. Power armor as well doesn't make you invulnerable either.
  7. Probably because you have to pay attention to it instead of running around with a full suit of T-51b power armor and a fatman. There's power armor and a fatman in NV as well, so... Personally I never used it. I think mods have spoiled me on Fallout 3 specifically FWE mod, which made things a lot more harsher and hardcore, making combat quite quick and lethal.
  8. Played the first, and second one. So when Fallout 3 came around I quickly fell in love with the game. It's just the general apocalyptic despair and atmosphere that drew me into Fallout 3 and the fact that it took place in D.C was a plus, it was a good setting and Fallout 3 remains my favorite out of the lot so far. Can't say I liked Fallout NV. I immediately took a dislike to the whole setting, theme and just the way the story was setup. I didn't like the condensed feeling of the map, nor was I fond of the overwhelming amount of quests in such a confined space. However Fallout NV has more value in actual content. There is a vast amount of quests, a lot more landmarks, secrets and places to visit and generally provided a more interactive experience with npc's. However, I just couldn't fall in love with the western feel for it and the overall theme. I felt they lost the apocalyptic feel to the game that Fallout 3 had and I just couldn't get into the new setting. Even though Fallout 3 can't compare to the amount of content+quests in NV, I find it has the better atmosphere.
  9. I'm hoping that Zomboids hardcore death mechanic coupled with its Zombie mechanics would deter those who kill just for the sake of killing. You know the type... the type that sits in the woods, wastes his bullets on shooting targets and doesn't bother to loot/rob them, I've seen it on DayZ plenty of times. DayZ has of course a similar death mechanic that is unforgiving, but the Zombies can hardly be considered a threat in it. With Project Zomboid however, Zombies react faster to the sound of gunfire, are able to swarm much quicker and are more of a potent threat. That's the real difference and I hope would-be bandits would be wise and careful in how they approach other players, because their itchy trigger finger may get themselves killed in the process. Then again, realization occurs that none of that matters. You'll still get the "I like to kill becoz its funnzy" crowd.. Although none of that will probably affect me as much since I'll most likely be doing co-op. Got an entire clan interested in Project Zomboid along with other friends of mine. So if we do hit the populated streets of Multiplayer servers, watch out ...
  10. Raaaaa! SMASH! THUMP! POW! WHAMM! KAPOW! OOOF! *That's my action for this turn..*
  11. Women... While we are on the sub-subject of sexualized (I didn't even know that was a legit word!) clothing and 'provocative' messages being sent across, if I may twist that entirely to bring you a tale that happened to me this morning. I was getting a massage at my local gym which is not something I normally partake in, as I find it a bit strange for someone wanting to get rubbed down by a complete stranger, but my muscles were at me after a workout so I said fuck it.. So in I go, I pay the exorbitant fee and I'm met with this rather large and strangely intimidating woman with the largest droopy breasts you could possibly imagine (some of you will have no trouble imagining that) pouring out of the smallest possible cover. The cleavage.. It was like the Grand Canyon all over again. Being a gentleman and a courteous sort, I put my willpower into full gear to avert my gaze as much as possible, something that was under a lot of strain. So anyway, she was going to be my masseuse. No problem. About 10 mins in, she starts standing in front of me as she's working my shoulders and upper back, and I get this sensation on the back of my head... Boing, Boing... Haha no, seriously.. I was getting smacked on the head by her Double Humongous Melons. My head was being used as a bouncy castle and she was enjoying the bouncing. At this point, I was getting quite a few confusing messages across and it turned into a very surreal experience. She also did a few things I'm pretty sure a masseuse shouldn't do.. But I digress, you don't want to hear the details of that. Anyhow, my point being; women can be dangerous. They can back a man into a corner and be deliberately (or in my case, passively - Although I can bloody tell you the passive provocation didn't last long and moved onto something else) provocative, and then cry foul later. I'm not saying that's always the case, certainly not, but usually that side of the story is rarely ever explored.
  12. Awesome mondoid blog. This along with the past one is a good continuation read on how the npc meta game is coming along.
  13. Calm down, calm down... think of happy times, I say to myself. After finishing staining the promotional CoD 25 poster, I zip up and collect my thoughts. I look around, and see a shop in disarray. Vulspire is pushing shelves up towards the windows, and Pancakez is nervously watching me, a revolver casually swinging by his side. As I approach Pancakez to have a wee chat about what just happened, and how it will be good to develop short-term memory for the past events within the shop, I notice something on the wall.. No! No it can't be, NOOOOO!!! Project Zombies - The Sergey Titov 'This isn't a ripoff, Honest' edition! WHY!?!?!? I shout out, fearing my lungs are about to explode.. Then I see another promotional poster, Battlefield 35! Enough! Corporate greed everywhere, and I've had enough!! I start to lose control, smashing and turning over everything into the shop. Then, I notice it, something odd on my arm.. Is, is that, no ... is my arm turning green? A tingling sensation as my muscles expand, my clothes rip apart, I'm ... I'm turning into the Hulk! Am I imagining this? Am I infected with some mutated form of the virus? I look over at Vulspire and Pancakez, their faces filled with bemusement and horror. But it isn't long before their faces become fuzzy... and replaced with laughing troll faces! Troll faces! Laughing ones, laughing at me?!? No, SMASH! MUST SMASH TROLL FACES! SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH!!!
  14. Its a bird, its a plane, its Superman! Although I believe the actual catchphrase is - Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, its Superman! Here's mine - oa tsi ngdotgiho omfr .me adn ist oginghtod rmfo m.hi gnio!otdgh!
  15. Not sure about that one.. .... the snack that ... and I'm lost on the rest. Goldfish might be the first one, although it doesn't really go well with the sentence. And I'm going to bed! Someone else can have that one before my brain ends up fried.
  16. Correct, except the dingsie part. That's dingies. It's a phrase that I heard my mum say, never knowing what it meant. It's from the Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, an obscure 1970's show. Character called Erny or Ernstein, something like that, that he would mutter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9e3dTOJi0o
