    Zombie migration is still non-functional at the moment remember?v The devs disabled it to stop the complaints of zombies 'teleporting' into fortified backyards. When it's re-implemented, remember that zombies never spawn in PZ, they just move around. The global zombie count is so high you'll never realistically kill them all.
     
    Not to knock your idea or anything, mind you. I DO like the idea of mammoth hordes rumbling up the highways, but it would take something really big and really loud to get them moving. Airliner crash perhaps? Military pounding an area with artillery? Oil refinery brewing up? A sale at Spiffos? Who knows?

    Having horses in the game would be nice because it's not OP because you have to feed it but then the advantage is obviously you travel on it. This has a up side and a down side. I know what the next question is, "how would you find one without making the game unrealistic?" Well, simple, just have built in farms on the map, just a few, and have animals in them like pigs and things and there, if you're lucky, they'll be horses. I wouldn't suggest having lots of grown crops on the farm or this would make the game a bit easy, and I understand you guys don't want that.

    I have only played Survival in every release. I do not recall that I even tried Sandbox. Playing since 2.0q. Claim dubious at best now.

    To be perfectly honest, I've always found the name to be a little odd myself. I feel like the inclusion of the word "project" into the game title implies that it's not completed, which obviously has been fitting, but hopefully won't be forever.

    Well if you think about it, cuffing still comes into this, you would need to cuff them so they don't escape once you shoot and run away. From what I have seen you write so far, I wouldn't be surprised if you'd amputated their every toe so they can't run before you do all your "take them out on to the street" business. xD.

    Heya guys, I'm going to throw together a quick list of things that are commonly suggested and whether they've been mentioned by devs as tentative or no's. I'm going to be basing this off of a few threads in the old forum and the top of my head. If I miss any please mention it in the thread and I'll add it to the list.
     
    Key
    [n] - This is a confirmed 'No' from the development team. Please don't waste your time or ours reposting unless there's something relevant and new about it
    [y] - This is confirmed 'Yes' from the development team. This is something the definitely want to see in the game, but this does not constitute a guarantee. Please don't post about it unless you have something new or relevant to add.
    [m] - This is a 'maybe' from the dev team. It's something they've mentioned that they were interested in but we still don't know if it's a confirmed feature. Please don't post about it unless you have something new or relevant to add.
    Everything else - everything not marked would be something overwhelmingly decided by the community or that's self-evident. If you feel it needs discussion bring it up here or in a thread if there's not already one out there.

    Thanks for the ideas man, I really think graphical bite marks would be the best way to show this, also that's a more realistic way of doing it, as you may catch a glimpse of the bite by accident, rather than having to check every NPC.  Good ideas
     
     
    Do you know if visible wounds are planned? Bandages sure, but I'm assuming in the future when you stop the bleeding you'll be able to remove a bandage, so let's say this guy was out on a supply run and got scratched, or bitten (stopped the bleeding and removed the bandage later), he comes strolling back in, not yet feeling ill, but you can't actually see any wounds so you'd be none the wiser until he died and turned. 
     
    We also need graphics for being eaten alive and also for zombies actually stopping to eat you

    Hey guys,

    I just thought about something, when NPC's and Multiplayer come along, there should be a way to see if a player or NPC is injured (bitten or scratched mainly), whether it be a modification to the graphics, or a menu that shows the status of someone (much like your own one), of course the graphical modification would be better but I understand it would be pretty time consuming to make all the different body parts and directions.

    I just thought, because I believe there is a chance of surviving a bite (2%?), imagine you were this guy in multiplayer who shows off his bite from a year ago, "Yeah. Yeah, you see this? Yeah, I survived, bitch" that sort of thing.

    And of course if someone has been bitten they could easily be the zombie apocalypse suicide bomber, hiding out in your base to die from a bite, and thus turn into a zombie in the base.  If we could see the bite then it would be harder for people to do this.

    Just a quick thought, I think this would be a good idea though.

    Going into Attack Mode should kick you out of any other Action that you are currently doing. I just had a game where I died because while I was in the process of building a pillar an invisible zombie snuck up on me, scratched my repeatedly and I couldn't attack him because I was still in Construction Mode. My character did the animation of swinging the weapon, but the weapon wouldn't hit the zombie. I had to press ESC for Attack Mode to work.
     
    Another case to make my point is a similar situation happened, which I reported earlier, when I was transferring logs from a Container into main Inventory. The game won't cancel that action if you try to attack a zombie with just the swing animation happening. I was forced to slowly run away until the long transfer completed, which was like 10-15 seconds.

    So I think Amputation would be effective and good in the game and bring a lot more (survival) aspect. This is why I think it would do this, so you get bitten on the leg? It's usually game over. But with amputation it doesn't just make the game 'to easy' it brings survival and a second chance with disadvantages if you will? So say you get bitten on the hand, then if you chop it off quick enough using a axe or any other sharp object then you won't be infected. (This is if you do it quick enough and sometimes you can cut it off and it's to late.) If you cut your leg off it's hard to walk and you need crutches or a wooden plank if push comes to shove. NPC's come into this because they can be infected so you amputate them or something along them lines or the other way round, they amputate you (if you want that). If you loose a arm then you can only use one handed weapons and carrying space in reduced. This would bring NPC in again because if you get a NPC and they won't tell you the information you want you could threaten to cut his arm/leg/foot/hand off if they don't comply. This would bring PZ to a new level and I would appreciate some feedback or people adding on to the idea!
