  1. the could just have different sprites for each body type. for instance 1:slim, 2:average 3:beergut 4:chubby 5:fat You're forgetting that they have to actually implement it in the game. That's an entire new model for sprite rendering, for each character type, for each frame, and each set of clothes will also need sprites to suit each frame. In other words: five times as many sprites for each clothing set we have now, plus anything new added in the future. That's a ridiculous amount of work for something that ultimately wont lend too much to gameplay. This isn't the sims, you know. that's true
  2. Yeah, but an easier less "clunky" way would be too hold right click or ctrl to fire, like with melee weapons. I support this concept.

  4. I'd like age, height, and fatness, to customize my characters more.
  5. haha, yeah. I was just thinking because it was close to wasd...does F really turn on flashlight in PZ? yeah, I was thinking about that too, although it really could screw you over. Maybe you'd have to charge it up like an attack in order for it to be effective at close range? haha, that'd make for some great fan art.
  6. Kajin, did you get the durability thing from my suggestion on Rath's topic, or from somewhere else? Just wondering if the idea has already been discussed to see whether or not to post a topic on it. thanks.
  7. Hey guys, I got another suggestion to share with you guys, but first would like to say thanks for being so great and helpful, seriously this fan community is just the best! Ok, but without further ado, let me begin my suggestion. I think it'd be very cool and helpful to have a way to kick, using the F key. Kicking would be used to push zombies off of you without being bit/scratched and to kick in locked doors. To balance out this mechanic kicking would consume a huge amount of stamina and could only be done 3-4 times in a row before you're completely exhausted. To explain why this would be useful, picture this: You walk into a dark house...you just broke your bat fending of the horde outside...you open the door to the bedroom and a zombie's standing right there. Instead of pushing him off of you and risking being infected, you tap F and kick him back, run out of the room, close the door, and search for a weapon to kill him. Useful? I think so. Kicking could also be used to break open doors with weaker locks, for instance the doors in the trailer park and smaller houses. When kicking zombies you have a 50% chance of knocking them down, and if you don't knock them down, it will knock them back and stun them for about 3-4 seconds. Certain traits would affect kicking, for instance Strong will increase knock back and chance of knocking them down to 75%, while Athletic would allow you to do 5-6 kicks in a row.(instead of 3-4) That's about it, if you would like to add anything to this post just tell me.
  8. Oh awesome! I'll probably make a topic that goes more in depth tomorrow.
  9. I'm with you on the durability, Rath. But also, I have a slight suggestion which I may post on it's own in a topic soon, but wanna know what you think. My idea is that some items should have alternatives for breaking. Like the axe, it's hard to picture one of those breaking on a zombies head, when they can cut through tons of trees. Although, I could see it getting DULL....See what I'm getting at? Instead of it completely disintegrating, it could just get more and more dull to where its basically a blunt weapon, of course making it far more ineffective against the horde, and as you were saying instead of showing a percentile, it could be sharp(100%-90%), worn(89%-70%), dull(69%-40%), very dull(39%-15%, blunt(14%-0%). Tell me what you think, critique welcome.
  10. Well it's your fault writing an interesting topic. haha, thanks! when i say resistant i meant more like 15-20 (4-8 with visor up) hits with a bat, and about 8-12 (2-4 with visor up) with an axe, if you've ever held a riot helmet you'd understand why. this is why knives would be used, because that way you can stab up under the visor. Lol yeah it'd suck if you couldn't distinguish them from other zombies.
  11. That part already happens. This for some reason made me laugh so hard! i know me too, I watched a vid like a minute after i said that and realized how stupid i was haha
  12. I like it. Also, to prevent this, maybe the walls you build should look better as you level up on carpentry, and eventually there will be no gaps, adding a reason to constantly level up your carpentry
  13. wow, had no idea my post would get people having discussions on it.
