  1. The side of the window a barricade is on should affect the way the barricade works. First, when zombie hit barricades on the other side of the window, it should take less damage to remove the barricade than when hitting barricades on the same side of the window. This is because when hitting barricades on the same side of the window, the zombies actually have to break through each plank in order to get through, whereas, in order to get through the barricades on the other side, the zombies only have to push the barricade until the nails come out of the wall. Next, when zombies break barricades on the other side of the window, rather than just destroying the planks, the planks should fall on the floor with a high, random amount of damage. This is because the zombies are only pushing the planks out of the wall, not snapping or breaking them completely. This would also create an incentive for players to barricade the outside of their windows rather than the inside. This adds a slight risk/rewards aspect in that zombies can see and hear you farther while barricading outside than while barricade inside. So if you are trying not to attract attention, but also barricade, there is slightly more risk.
  2. Thought it was obvious enough I didn't the "/s". :/
  3. So, I guess this is the new bug reports section? Nice, I like how it's all condensed into one thread now. How convenient!
  4. Skinny should be changed, so it's hard to gain weight. Generally, IRL, if you have a high metabolism, you can eat anything and everything and you won't gain weight. I know this because my metabolism is extremely high, and, while it's nice not having to worry about what I eat, it also means I'm more prone to weakness and dry heaving if I don't eat.
  5. Why are you no longer moderator on any of the Zomboid forums?
  6. Eh, that, I'm not so keen on. Tanks would just be OP, regardless of who you are, however bombs and high caliber weapons could be decent if all they ammo and explosives are used in the initial infection. I think by the time the zombies killed everyone in the base, there would be no ammo left for anything, due the fact it was used in the initial attack and only attracted more zombies.
  7. That would most certainly be cool. Sure you would have guns and ammo, however, there would be about a billion zombies swarming the place because of all the noise.
  8. The blacksmithing is actually really cool. It would be nice to have it in sandbox. I enabled it in game, figured out how to get metal, and made a guide. http://imgur.com/a/zM9ss
  9. Why doesn't smithing just become an option for sandbox for now? That way some people can play with it, and offer suggestions for the current system, and those who don't want it can play without it.
  10. I'm on the same boat. lol. I can't wait for any of the new features they have shown off. Like metalworking, the new building system, animations, and the new sleep system.
  11. One thing that would be cool to see, is if you leave a curtain open that lets light into the room you are in, you should wake up when it becomes light outside. I do this in real life because I hate sleeping in until 12:00. This generally gets me up at around 8:00 or 9:00.
  12. We should have different options for zombie movement speed and attack speed. If I want to have sprinting zombies that are very strong, then I also at least want them to have a slow attack speed.

    How to Wait

How do I make a function just wait for a few seconds before ending it with Lua?
  14. Yeah. That's my main reason for wanting it, forgot to mention it.
  15. Change the name of the small rain collector barrel to, "Rain Collector Box", because it's a box that collects rain. Not a barrel.
  16. Any furniture you can walk through, zombies can walk through. So the only furniture you can use to barricade is things you can't walk through.

    Die in Style

By, "this particular aspect" do you mean smelting or metalworking all together?
  19. I think that there should be some changes to the way literature, like books, magazines, comic book, and newspapers work. First of all, these things shouldn't disappear when you use them. Once you've read a book, you should be able to read it a second time for half the stats as the first time. This represent how when you read a book a second time, you generally notice things you didn't on the first read. After this second read, the stats for reading the book should go down drastically. Next, over time, the stats for reading a book you've already read should slowly go back up as you forget the details, characters, and plot of the book, to the point that after maybe, say, a year, you have forgotten the book entirely. This would encourage players to build libraries of books, not only for single player, but especially for multiplayer. This way, players can share books and other literature to prevent boredom and sadness. This all would also make it easier in the long run to prevent boredom and sadness.
  20. I just want to be able to move 2 tile furniture. Seriously, not being able to move couches and coffee tables is so frustrating. I hate having to destroy them when I could be using them to make barricades.
  21. I'm only talking about rainwater with the filter, as any sort of ground water could not be filtered with something nearly as simple as rainwater. As for storing the water, I think it would be cool to connect water pipes to some 55 gallon drums, like you can find at some warehouses, and use those to store water.
  22. Well, rainwater alone should be pure, and if you filter it immediately after it lands, say, collecting it with funnel that goes through filtered pipe into a closed space, nothing should be able to grow in it, nor should any inorganic matter be able to get in it.
  23. I would like pipes with which we could make filters for rainwater so we could collect clean water into a closed barrel or container of some sort that could then be used with a sink. However, I also don't mind the way it is now.
