  1. We already do that. If you are paying attention a zombie directly behind you should be seeable and hearable.
  2. Could you make a mod that enables you to lock all windows and be able to lock doors and unlock doors from the inside of them, regardless if you have the key? Sorry if it sounds demanding, i'm just never gonna get anywhere asking the devs to do it, at least not anytime soon. Anyways, Will these npcs be effected by bites and zombificaiton? This only heralds the dawn of what early access modded games do. When a feature is modded in, in less than 6 months the devs scramble to get their version done lol. Happens every time. Minecraft and pre-redstone electric mods for example. When these mods came out mojang saw the interest in them and quickly pumped out their own version.
  4. i don't see why the devs don't just roll build 33 out with the npc component as is-live. Just have them as an option in sandbox. We wouldn't care if they were buggy very much. I mean, it IS a testing branch, bugs are to be expected, and fixed as we go on.

  7. The devs themselves have stated that, while there is a chance you may not contract the virus, If you do it is 100% fatal. No amount of medical care will stop it. I was more thinking along the lines of even if the virus gets on you, dissecting out infected flesh before it gets to you, and sterilizing the area immensely. It's retarded to give it super-duper antiseptic resistance for no reason. Same thing they do for animals with septic bites like some water monitors, gators, ect. They cut out infected flesh that's mangled and scrub the wound with water and iodine. This is more a realistic attempt then hacking your arm off and being weaker forever. It's vastly more easy to survive. I mean you need to get a good damn grip to bite through human skin. Alot of bites won't dig in but will rather scratch it as it slips through the teeth.
  8. I think that if you use good medicine and ect. You get a 20% Chance of surviving the virus. That means with PERFECT medical usage, sterilization, washing out, sterile bandagages, potentially snipping out tissue that touched infected matter, ect.

There's this WIP with broken down cars somewhere. They need help implementing them into the game. If you could try and get them into the game that'd be awesome!

  11. They could RP as a cancer survivor, Or, women cut their hair so that zombies cant grab it. All a ponytail is is a convinent handle for a zombie to grab Nevertheless, Men should have the option to have long hair. It's the hair's natural state to be long. Growing out your hair is not an action, it's just refraining from cutting it.
  12. I want furnature that i can block off windows with and they become inaccessable. meaning you can't climb through them.
  13. Basically it'd be nice to seeall hairstyles avalible on all people. I'm a guy with long hair. I'd like my character to also have that. That is all. Also perhaps make it so long hair makes it easier for zombies to grab you maybe.
  14. what Tanks exist. Bombs exist. Miniguns exist. Huge machine guns exist. APCs exist. Grenades and C4 exist. You can't just write them off as not being in a MILITARY BASE! A military base is bound to have tanks and shit. If the devs want the base, the coinciding military assets should come with it. I am sure we are going to see some of it, but we aint going to be using a mini gun to mow down zombies while using C4 and shit to level down a building while pumping some rock music in a tank with a NPC driving it and other NPC using the .50 cal machine gun on the gunner seat mowing down more zombies. We are not going to get tanks or any overpowered military weapons period. We already have some sort of grenade with the hairspray and the sparklers, so don't think that when you raid Fort Knox you will be using tanks, APC, a .50 cal machine gun mounted on top of a jeep, we will see grenades for sure, but i am even more sure that they will be rare as fuck to find. I dont remember where i read this, but when the game starts, it said something about the military(real NPCs) trying to hold off the zombies in fort Knox and used up most of their stuff, so by the time you gear up and try to get inside the fort (that will be surrounded by zombies because all the ammo they will consume and the eventual downfall of the Fort), you either will face a countless number of zombies and dead military guys and more than half of the ammo gone, including grenades and other stuff. I think still that we should be able to fix up some of the random tanks we find abandoned by the ever retreating military force to add an asset to your Surivior group. I mean, make there be a active soldier profession where you know how to get military hardware working, or make it use a shit ton of deisel, i don't care. If you think survivors wouldn't TRY to get a tank running to use it against other survivors or to barge through undead swarms, you got another thing coming. A balancing thing could be making shells very rare. like you'll prolly find 10 to 20 total across the base and scattered in military sites. And only one type of tank round is effective. Canister shot. It's basically a shotgun shell, for a tank. Shreds anything in front of the barrel for a hundred yards, very effective at dismembering and mutilating zombie crowds. might only kill 10, but renders a hell of a lot more immobile. I think that's fair. A tank has advantages, and it should have disadvantages too. Notably- it's pretty damn slow, it's pretty damn loud. And it goes REALLY slow over dead zombies, and through undead crowds, we're talking like 4 MPH. or at the very least let us drive them, maybe explain the military has locks on the firing mechanism so you need a password to use the turret. just let us use them as battering rams for enemy walls and stuff. It's not like zombies exactly blow up tanks. they at most can get the door open and get inside or drag the crying crew outside of it. Hell, even adding a "mechanic" Skill tree, and making tank repair number 10 would be alright with me. I'm not saying making this into DAYZ, i'm just saying SOME military equipment of most kinds should be avalible, even if improbably rare. Trust me, i live in southern ohio not an hour away from kentucky and even here i see people walking around brandishing AK47's and AR-15's, scares the fuck out of me daily.

  17. I think it would be cool if zombie media DID exist in this universe. People call them zombies, generally know how to kill them. That's why your character attacks straight for the head in the beginning instead of hitting them in the torso or whatever. The reason so many people died is nobody beleived it would ever Actually happen. They were so panicked and scared they all died.
  18. It would be nice to see modular, multi-tile gates that can be opened so that vehicles can be put in. or just to be big and intimidating. They can be made out of any materials. By that i mean scrap metal, scavenged fences, wood, pretty much any material.

  20. Isn't that the point of having smarter zombies? Increased difficulty? Yes. But we still need defenses against them. cause at this point even if you lock your doors they instantaneously open a window effortlessly, even if it takes you like 30 seconds to open the same window.
  21. Simple as that. We should be able to lock windows from the inside. Just mix locking code with curtain code and bada bing bada bang. Also, from the inside, i should have the ability to lock any door. no matter if i have the key. I just wanna have intelligent zombies that can't just pop in by opening a window with no real way to stop them without planks of wood. if you can, it'd be nice to see in build 32.31
