  1. Won't happen. Too many little wars have been fought around this one topic and concessions made to its effect to allow it. Too much anger and hate and misunderstandings when goals change or aren't reached in an "acceptable" time-frame.
  2. Easy to judge when you live in the place where "winter" doesn't always mean "snowing". Here in Russia it starts snowing at the end of November, and snows pretty much until beginning of march. Temperature stays below 0, so even if it's several weeks/a month without snow falling, it's still not enough for the snow already on the ground to melt out all the way to the grass. Unfortunately, where the game is set, "winter" doesn't always mean "snowing." Snow just isn't much of a threat below 1 ft in depth.

  4. Shh, he's from the Martitimes. He might take you up on that. I know I will, once I move back there. (I highly recommend sacrificing Rathlord. There can be only one!)
  5. You'll always be a non-temporal bunny-man to me, Walter. Even if your ears are rather slicked back and look more like Christmas trees.
  6. I think he understands our intent, Rathlord.
  7. When this is all over, no one will know I've done a thing.
  8. I don't really care so long as it isn't done with the purpose of having children, as the result of an abusive relationship, and such.
  9. A thread to lock? *Waits patiently for chaos to occur.*
  10. Sure you can, 'less they're pasteurized. An egg has small fractures throughout its shell that enables bacteria present on the surface of the egg to migrate into it. Not that it should necessarily make you, personally, sick and, in particular, it shouldn't make you sick every time. This is because the recipes haven't been added to the game.
  11. This shouldn't occur in the latest Interim build.
  12. I'm going to start merging every thread you make about weight balance from this point forward. 1. Flashlights start with batteries in them. Put 4 D-cells into a standard flashlight of the bygone age and you'll get something likely surpassing the weight of a bat. Images can be deceptive; for convience, one battery might represent many. But I do agree an empty flashlight shouldn't weigh very much, as most of the weight comes from the batteries themselves. As to "things need to match what they represent," no. They really don't. They just have to be a decent approximation with the mechanics behind it to justify it, otherwise all abstraction is off the table. 2. Golf clubs can vary greatly in weight and can be up to three pounds. Bats can weigh no more than 3 (length - weightOunces), so probably under 2 lb for bats intended to be used in baseball . . .
  13. That's what I'm here for, Rathlord. Know your place!
  14. This shouldn't occur in the latest Interim build.
  15. Eh, doesn't look as massive as first supposed -- the "gigantic" skyscappers seem to be just background images, for example (note how he stops racing towards them the moment he hits the fence) and many of the buildings don't seem to have innards. Still, it is pretty and detailed. If only it didn't have standard FPS combat.
  16. How does "frantically alternating between pressing A and D" make combat more visceral? It's simple enough to abstractthis with the run button and just assume that's exactly what the character is doing (struggling to get free of grabby hands) until an animation is in place to demonstrate this explicitly. I loathe the "mash two buttons in a specific time and pattern for several seconds" paradigm that seems to have become mainstream with the recent Walking Dead, Hard Rain, and Tomb Raider games.
  17. Disable shaders and multicore in the in-game Options menu? Sweet, sweet tears of the Drake.
  18. What's your windows user name ? We may change that tho, because for now it'll accept only UTF-8 because we use java string... We working on it, sorry guys Or figure out some way to use the shell:personal command, since My Documents and Documents don't have a relative path outside of the registry, rather than rely on Java's default properties. Apparently this is configurable in the Options menu. What's your windows user name ? We may change that tho, because for now it'll accept only UTF-8 because we use java string... We working on it, sorry guys It just doesn't currently generate a file to place a mod in. The folder has to be created manually?
  19. Rather just have its utility be limited to reducing the rate at which food warms up to the normative temperature, rather than have it act like a refrigerator, at least without the addition of something colder than its current contents.
  20. Yeah, you get a penalty for using two-handed weapons in 1 hand. Edit : Ninja-d by Romain Mega- edit : As we've already talked to Romain on skype, it seems like on russian windows the "mods" folder doesn't appear in C:\Users\Name\Documents\Zomboid. What's even funnier, is that the Zomboid folder is created within C:\Users\Name\Zomboid rather than "Documents" one. But even so, there doesn't seem to be any hints of "mods" folder anywhere around. It still exists within the main directory though. (steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid) Miscommunication. %username%\zomboid rather than My Documents or the Documents library. 'less I'm terribly mistaken.
