Skate Boards - Weapon and Transportation

Suggestion to add skateboards and skate board parts. Skateboards would be for transportation and used as a weapon. It would be very easy for a nearby zombie to grab you as you're rolling by, so it'll be dangerous to board near zombies.

Also when removing of dead bodies is added i'd suggest if you hit a dead body on the ground you go flying off the skateboard just as you would (Unless you ollied over the body but y'know)

I'd be making use of my board for getting about quickly, and doubling up as a melee weapon when carrying it. Not the most safe transport available but I'd use mine anyway

I don't like the idea of a skateboard, I'd rather ride a bicycle since it's faster, and probably a whole lot more common too, not to mention how much less often you'll fall over and off-roading somewhat...

skateboards... I can see that happening in an apocalypse. Any form of transport goes really. It would be louder than running though so I think it should give off some noise too.

 

Not something I'd personally use myself given the choice but hell it's plausible enough to say I wouldn't mind having it in the game at all.

You could still push but it would exhaust you and more likely to fall off , thats imo

Depends on the type of wheels you have and the surface you are one, if you have park wheels and on solid concrete it is pretty loud (Hard type of wheels) If you have street wheels that can asorb small cracks and stuff to try help it go better it tends to be much quieter because they are softer Or Filming wheels very fast, very soft but get stopped by almost the smallest of cracks and stones

I would want the board to break if you try to ride it and your way to heavy.

if you have the overweight perk you break any board you try to ride and based on your sprinting perk you could skate longer or faster

I don't know if anyone suggested it but, tricycle anyone? Best way to get around in Dead Rising 2.

It would break after one or two hits when using it as a weapon. 

As for transport I love this idea a lot more then if they were to add motorized vehicles. 

Bicycles should be suitable aswell.

Skateboard, as a weapon... Is a horrible weapon. You'd break it before you could crack a zombie's skull, really. As a form of quicker transport with less fatigue expenses - yes. As a weapon? Only as a real shitty one. Think a Butter knife of blunt weapons.
