  1. Are there any plans for adding new things like equipment, weapons, etc in the near future? Also, character creation still seems like it could use a fix up with traits and such. Any plans for that?
  2. Sweet, thanks a bunch. That will translate properly using the pixel grid in Paint.Net right?
  3. Got a quick question on when making the landscape in Paint.net. The tutorial doesnt mention this but, what sizes should the roads be when making the base land scape? The Brush size, or even number of pixels with the grid turned on would be awesome. Second question is, how do roads currently work over water? I'm assuming you just draw whatever terrain over the water to make it work, but I'd like to check first. Cheers.
  4. As they mentioned in a mondoid, Louisville. I want to see large city areas. It'd be super cool.
  5. Also to add, carrying heavy loads should also matter when riding a skateboard.
  6. Ah ok, I misunderstood what you wrote.
  7. I'd also like to add, do you plan on adding or changing any Traits?
  8. That's why it would be a combination of the two systems. Stacks would be limited to a certain ammount until they take up another square. The additional weight system would even out weight-related problems like having an A4 block compared to a thin magazine. It's not like such a system (combination of volume and weight) is new and hasn't been done before. Yeah - but at what benefit compared to being able to properly handle really small items? You won't be able to stack "similar" items, so those will always come at an extra cost of storage. Like I said, all grid systems work work best with a small range of items, not a wide range of size, shape, weight and type. What. Large items shouldn't be stacked in a grid system. Give you more thought on what to take in general. I'd have to completely disagree with you on the fact that it does work with a multitude of different games of the survival genre.
  9. I agree with both things. Either way, as a whole something should be done.
  10. I know that I'm probably going to get a lot of flack for this, but I'm going to suggest this anyway. I think it was mentioned that Lemmy said that he didn't want to use a grid system in the game. However, I think it would help and even improve the game's current inventory and the weight system. Basically, in an example I'm putting up, you'd end up combining the inventory and health menus together to make it a little more smooth. You'd grab things from containers via popup grid. I know that this is the thing that everyone else is doing, but the thing is that it works. You wouldn't have to worry about the current weight system, as long as it fits onto the grid. This would also (potentially) make the crafting system more intuitive, rather then the current boring drop down menus.
  11. Actually, I'd like to add to the topic of what I'd like to see (besides just more traits). I'd really like to see more hybrid like traits, where they don't give you a positive/negative but take something like Alcoholism for instance. Basically you'd have a high tolerance, but you'd always have to get your fix otherwise you'd become shaky (accuracy reduced) or more panicky. So, you'd end up basically taking Hardened Drinker but making it much more interesting to take. You could even buff it so that when you have a drink, your much more resistant to panicking.
  12. Currently, Short Tempered and Brooding will always be an easy pick, due to no actual negative effects on the player. I'd be more interested in some of the builds that come after the npc introduction. I'd mostly just going in with no traits, and no occupation.
  13. I'd imagine, that if leaderboards ever happen, it'll probably have this incorporated with it.
  14. Here's the thing about dual wielding; you're more likely to hurt yourself then the target, unless trained specifically. Holding a knife and pistol, sure. 2 bats/axes? Have you tried swinging 2 bats at once, let alone axes? Hell, dual wielding axes can lead to serious self harm.
  15. If you're getting 1-5 fps, what the hell are you running the game on? I wasn't aware you could play the game on a toaster.
