Grease me up! (additional use for cooking oil)

would like to be able to apply cooking oil to the characters body/clothing to make them slick and slippery to reduce the effect of being slowed down by zombies when running through a hoard etc?

this should also apply some negatives traits too. slower transfer of items, much higher rate of dirtiness (for body and clothing), chance to drop items equipped to hands, should also give you the "soaking wet" trait, after a while it should make you sad if not cleaned off.

it could get you out of a tight spot but not something you'd want to do continuously.

Nah, just wouldn't work, maybe but just maybe it'd have some effect on the naked body but otherwise it's not possible also a waste of oil, your clothes would suck up the oil and you'd be stuck with these uncomfortable to even touch OIL damped clohes that wouldn't do anything good let alone make you SLIPPERY, basically you'd be left with a different texture of "damp" clothing that would 100% make you depressed overtime, let's face it this is not Tom and Jerry this is Project Zomboid.

Please first test that this actually works IRL.

it does actually. while the idea isn't exactly fit for zomboid, you can actually oil yourself up irl to become extremely slippery. google 'turkish oil wrestling' if you want to see it in action.
