Swimming Pools

I like the pool idea and what if that over time it would drain then  you would have a empty pool. In winter it would freeze over and if needed you could boil then drink the water but until you boil it it is pool water and just for the sake of convenience i would say that its a salt water pool so if you do drink it then you fill your thirst for a few hours but then it comes back faster.

Most pools are chlorine based, so I don't know about that there...

But on the note of 'slowly going dry over time' because of the design of the pool as a water-trapping structure, I don't think that would happen. It'd collect rainwater and go stagnant far faster than it would ever go dry.
