Water from the river

I know it's something that has been discussed several times, but I think it needs to be implemented. 

 

We should be able to collect and use water from the West Point's river, to irrigate crops or drinking (previously boiled). 

All survival games have this feature except Project Zomboid

But to ensure I don't get stabbed by the moderators, a way of purifying it for drinking is needed.

As another similar suggestion, maybe the, once implemented, snow in winter could be used for water too? 

 

You could do this similar to how that "Frozen State" or whatever does it, to where snow mounds are generated throughout the game, and you can "loot" them to get snow. This could be used as water, or, maybe with NPCs, a way to have fun  :

Excellent idea with the snow. The water from the river is a major need in the game. Possibly make a way to dig a trench to bring the water source where you need it to.

Maybe something like this?  or in the higher end houses you can scavenge the water filters on the sinks/whole house systems.
