  1. I have seen fireplaces in houses but never spent the time to see if they are usable, does anyone know?
  2. http://knowledgeweighsnothing.com/make-a-diy-bio-sand-water-filter-for-safe-drinking-water/ Maybe something like this? or in the higher end houses you can scavenge the water filters on the sinks/whole house systems.
  3. Would be nice to be able to craft a poncho from trash bags.
  4. I agree with everything said. The aspect of rotten food spoiling other food is basic. The rodent problem could be solved with traps or even rat poison. The aspect of having a cat/dog in the game is a excellent game, just made a few comments about this in another section. Birds eating crops when ready to harvest would be another option. Really hard rain washing away crops. Lets not make the game too hard on our self's haha.
  5. Would love to see fish added to the list of items to be canned. http://www.food-skills-for-self-sufficiency.com/canning-fish.html
  6. I have downloaded this, had to play around with the key mapping to get it to work for me.
  7. Excellent idea with the snow. The water from the river is a major need in the game. Possibly make a way to dig a trench to bring the water source where you need it to.
  8. In Guam we have storm shutters for tropical storms. Its a folding metal shutter that pulls across the window and door frame and locks from the inside and outside. I dont see them having this on peoples house's in kentucky
  9. I think that the fire aspect should be more open then what it is now. To make a fire it should only be fuel + flame. If I am in the suburbs i do not want to have to go out and find rocks and to be realistic I dont need to have a rock circle to have a fire. <--- Sorry did not finish my full thought.
