  1. According to commonly suggested suggestions the aerosol flamethrower is a definite no. And there are easier ways to light a campfire.
  2. According to the zombie survival guide (not to mention the commonly suggested suggestions thread) any kind of flamethrower is a no go as far as zombies are concerned
  3. The hammer is still a very effective one handed weapon. The force required to strike a skull crushing blow is relatively small compared to the weight of the weapon. Hammers are effective for that purpose even single-handed. Cast iron frying pans, whike unwieldy should produce the same affect.
  4. I'm going to just search one more house then head back to base...
  5. If you think the neighborhood west of you is bad, I'm playing night of the living dead zombies with the number set to insane... In west point.
  6. I know there's nothing in the notes, but the zed seem to be moving around a lot more in my games. Could be just because I've got zombies set to insane in sandbox so I'm just seeing normal metagame movements more readily.
  7. Build 25 seems to have migration mechanics back. Good luck with the 500+ zombie horde coming towards you aws...
  8. IIRC the devs said they wanted to add a "GOAT" style (a la fallout 3) character creation process with the option to skip it and create a character like you do now. I would like tobe able to do something with the extra points left over from negative traits.
  9. Personally i like that nothing is damaged. There's a special level of creepiness in SP when you wake up, everything looks absolutely normal except... No people. And then you see your first zombie..
  10. Ditto for M1 Garand, though not as common and semi-auto. My actual weapon of choice in a real zombocalypse.
  11. Love playing with insane level of zombies. 2nd playthrough with it, spawned in the motel in west point. Had to run for 10 hours with nothing but a pen and ammo for a non-existent gun. Exhilarating.
  12. I've noticed alot more migratory movements in build 25. the meta events of helicopters and gunshots actually seem to get masses of zombies moving now, instead of just a little bit. I'm seeing alot more zombies movign towards some unknown location as I'm running by, that they often times ignore me if I'm just walking and not getting too close. I've noticed that big time in SP. Seems some sort of migration is back...
  13. With a city center that dense I wonder what would be the result of setting zombie number to insane in sandbox...
  14. Bought a pair of used combat boots from army surplus store. Heels were ground off from all the marching but they're still going strong. Wear them almost always.

  17. Metal bats bend to easily when trying to bash in a human skull. And bows/crossbows are a confirmed item currently in the works.
  18. According to medical research cpr is vastly overrated as a life saving technique. Only about 8 per cent of patients requiring cpr have a "good outcomr" (i.e. Full recovery). Modern medical dramas and pop culture have vastly blown out of proportion how effective it is... That being said 8 per cent is better than 0 per cent
