  2. Does pressing ESC work? Of course the actions you did in sequence could have caused a bug, but ESC is used to cancel actions. Think reading in a car still needs refining if ESC does work though as most type of movement input should just cancel it like it does outside of cars.

  4. You can turn them off in sandbox. The only thing it might be tweaked on in the future is the 180 degree turn that sometimes tends to happen to your character. To turn them off: Sandbox --> Zombie Lore --> Fence Lunge --> Uncheck. That should count for windows too as far as I'm aware.

  6. If you have mods, they might have caused a bug. If you don't then a bug still exists within the game's code if you didn't change infection settings. Any more information would be good to try and get it resolved though. You're not supposed to be able to survive bites at all.

  9. With over 1K hours at this point plus a dev having to step in on an argument to confirm it's a bug, I'm fairly confident. Lucky trait only affects repair chance, and loot spawn chance. Long ago there used to be legend that the Spiffo plushie granted luck, and helped you survive, too.
  10. If this was on build 41 - it's a bug. The base chance is flat 100%. If you've got mods I'd assume they're interfering but if not, this shouldn't be happening. If it's an older version you're on - bug may still be there. To clarify: 7% infection chance from scratches. 25% infection chance from lacerations. 100% infection chance from a bite.
  11. Well when you're carrying them they count as 'items' in your inventory. All you need to do is transfer them to the boot or seats even just like any other normal item. They weigh 20 so they'll fit in most car boots, larger cars and trailers adding to the amount of course. Though I'd like if it had an animation for carrying a corpse and loading it into a car, too. And generators too maybe. Just for the more unique items.

    Aye, they posted some on Twitter too, the "last remaining survivors" screenshot is my favourite one. The outfits really personify everyone, and the weapon models too. The animations and models were one thing in SP, in MP it's no longer "look at that guy with a vest and pants". And the female models back in B40... Dear lord.

  14. I've seen a couple of people make this mistake for some reason, the game didn't release until 2011 though. You may be getting it confused with Zombie Shooter 2, which came out in 2009 and bears (some slight) resemblance to old PZ:

  16. What a great constructive way to report issues. This is such a minor issue, it'll be fixed when someone gets around to it. There are far more important things they are working on. Insulting the developers is hardly going to get you anywhere, is it? I wonder why, considering you're insulting them in general I assume you'd look to personally insult them because what you want isn't done which is what's truly shameful.
  17. This used to be a thing in the old old days where hovering over an object would show, say, 5/5 for doors. I don't think I'd mind it coming back in some less game-y way. Something like "Integrity: Full; Damaged; Low." would be good as an emulation of a person looking at that object and seeing it looking weak or something. I don't know why it was removed initially though, maybe it went against the game, I know it would feel a bit odd hovering over objects now to see health, but an 'Examine' option could be decent. If not, well then it's part of the fun of guessing how long you have until they break in. If so, then I think the "Full; Damaged; Low" would be better rather than "5/5" or "1%" as it'd be too accurate.

  19. If you walk away from the car and press 'V' (toggle HUD off/on again) it should bring it up I think, rather than restarting the game.
  20. I get you, but that's the opposite they're aiming for. Kate and Bob are the story mode from way back when. The driving idea of the end-game is a replayable scenario that's never the same. Something like your very own zombie movie, different events, different characters with different traits. All this stuff is intended to be more dynamic and unique than set in stone and scripted. Here's the best description from Lemmy (developer). There's also some older blogs I can link if you're interested to know more. I get people are worried about them being fodder, and detracting but the main reason they were removed from back then is because they were bad. It's the biggest feature so all these systems really need to work well and be unique stories. Hopefully that comment will show you the depth and scope they're aiming for the end-game.
  21. Huh, you're right. Uncapped my FPS and was getting 80-90. After turning off music, restarting it dropped to 50-60 with a few stutters too. Odd issue.

  23. This actually isn't a bug, it's an easter egg. Reference to COVID when everyone went out buying TP. Low chance to find a house like this in-game.
