Hey, I've been watching the forums for a while now and decided to post a suggestion I've been waiting for a while. I'm aware this has already been suggested and disagreed with, yet I think there can be a sort of compromise that makes it a large risk. As displayed in "The Walking Dead" episode "Guts" (Season 1), Rick and his survivors dress in large coats and smear themselves in infected guts. I understand zombies also rely on their sight and hearing, but I feel ingame they notice me from a far distance even when I set their hearing/sight/smell to low. So I think you should be able to disguise yourself in the infected guts by: When you enter the context menu for a body (If you have a sharp weapon like an axe/knife equipped in a primary/secondary slot) there is an option to "Chop up" which would change the sprite to a more mangled one, which the option of "Smear guts" would come. If you smear the guts the following effects and chances would come into place: You would be "disguised", and your clothes would be permanantly ruined by the dry blood stains even after the disguise washes off (Causing a nautious moodlet and unhappy moodlet while wearing them)Even while "disguised", infected have a 45% chance of noticing you (Or increase to 50/55%)While disguised you recieve the moodlets "Anxious" (At the stage of "stressed"), "Panick" (At the stage of "strong panic"), "Unhappy" (At the stage of "Getting a tad weepy"), and "Sick" (At the stage of "Nautious")Once you're under the moodlet of "damp" for rain, your disguise loses it's effect, yet you keep the "Nautious" and "Unhappy" moodlet until you change clothes (The anxious and panicked moodlets would change depending on the amount of infected around you)If you have any wounds (Bites, scratches, cuts once implemented) and you apply the guts, you have a 100% chance of infectionIf you don't have any wounds, you still have a 60/70% chance of catching a regular infectionThe disguise would still wear off within 3 ingame hoursNow obviously I'm not a coder, so I have no idea how long it would take for this to code. However in-game it would be a desperate mans chance to sneak past a horde, even though it has a large amount of consequences. Open to constructive criticism, and can understand how people would be reluctant to imput this.
