  1. I swear the house alarm/house noise follows my person and not the spot where the sound were generated. any thoughts anyone?
  2. I have a reasonable video card in my PC and have the same problem with having to switch on or click yes in the zoom option. Funny thing is if I were to set auto zoom it would work fine, but otherwise I have to set it each time I start the game. At least it's easier now with using the controller to operate the menu since I play with a gamepad. I don't see a reason why that could be true (video card isn't good enough so it shuts it off) all things considered.
  3. MSVCP100D.dll system error due to file missing?
  4. Game no longer launches after update.
  5. You currently can't pause the game if your inventory is open.
  6. Bugged. Doesn't work at all with the crowbar in the inventory.
  7. Bugged. Causes items to randomly be unpacked then disappear.
  8. Still launches steam after setting. Something I'm missing?
  9. It did eventually start up but the time is now seemingly double. it also feels far less responsive in-game especially with the controller now. Plus I just really don't need Steam shoving ads down my throat. Other than that the new menu's are nice.
  10. Uhm...so game is broken now. Does nothing but launch steam then proceed to not respond. Any way to play without STEAM since that application is useless to me?
  11. Seems as though a lot of the items don't show when equipped anymore. It was working but hasn't since the last update. You just swing empty hands with the bats, machete, etc.
  12. I've never put up a door with nails. Just saying.
  13. Cologne contains denatured alcohol, meaning they purposely add a toxin so people can't drink it for intoxication. Meaning, it's useless to you to use as disinfectant.
  14. Problem is just that. You can be offline, leveled up and superior to other MP players when you come in. Do it legit and it's fine.
  15. Yeah but a lot of that is hypothetical. One person's problem isn't another person's problem. I think the clothing thing is abit much and goes the way of having to use the toilet in-game. I do think you should be able to 'rest' on the ground. Why can't I just sit down and rest? Why MUST it be a chair? Having to level up to build a chair to rest in is sort of insane to me. There should be a 'rest' option for toilets (gives the illusion of the using the toilet thing) and certainly tainted water should come from a toilet and probably the fixtures after water is shut off. I just think I should be able to set out cooked food portioned up or not onto the table instead of just throwing it on the floor. An easy option is to make it so when you're close enough to another person/npc you see their inventory a lot like the individual tile/crate in the game with the window open. That could also make for pickpocketing or something but it would definitely make item management between people more straight forward in my opinion.
  16. Finish NPCS already so I dont even have to entertain the idea of shitty MP servers with idiot cheaters and douchebag roleplayers.
  17. Care here, stay lovely. It's intended that they're rare, it's too avoid being over powerfull character. Yeah but if it's true they ONLY spawn in sheds and ONLY in WP (because the shed ratio of WP to MD is ridiculous) then it SEVERELY handicaps someone in MD for no reason. I can get the rarity, and even the need to farm them up, but it's sort of ridiculous I can't learn to make anything from a book or with building skill (called trial and error). This makes the books mostly useless and lvling up even more-so unless you do have the skill books. Conversely, I don't see how sawing a million logs teaches me how to build stairs, so there's a serious discrepancy in the overall idea here. There needs to be some balance between learning thru doing and learning by reading. Like say repairs/etc. are less effective if you didn't learn them thru skill mags. That's pretty bad if you need to be an engineer to make a molotov cocktail using gasoline - enough said.

    Realism mod

I think jarring should make food last indefinitely. Also, maybe the ability to use salt and pepper/spices in place of sugar, or not have to use sugar at all (since it isn't needed in reality) but adding sweetness could increase happiness outcomes (but maybe using sugar gives less nutrition). Should also be able to mix and match vegetables like when cooking to make "jar of vegetables" instead of just one jar of each vegetable. I also noticed in the vanilla game that radishes aren't really used for anything other than straight eating or using as bait. I couldn't ever cook with them or add to a salad, etc. Also there's a problem downloading the file. Try sendshare or something not so finicky.
