  1. i watched some videos on yt about it. people complain same things like at dayz - other people who are only walk around to kill people or kill them while sleeping and looting their stuff. they are only for provocation, not for survival.
  2. Working in a shop sucks for this reason. One CD, on repeat from opening to closing, the music gives me headaches. i can feel with you - for a customer it sounds like radio, but it is an infinite loop of christmas songs. at the least after two days you know the sequence
  3. mth.house radio stream (various dj mixes)
  4. but they don't respawn, do they? i found a doctor and spawned him in my base. he get killed after some time - did not see him yet again
  5. as i have written above, the worlds of terraria have an end (on each side). After playing a lot, the game feels like you are trapped in a box (the level) with limited stuff. starbound feels more open. Terraria has got all biomes in one world - in starbound every planet is a different biome. It's also a bit more difficult than terraria, because the starting phase is much harder. Another big point is your spaceship which is very good as starting base. you don't need to go back to a world to get you stuff - you're able to store it in your spaceship with access on every planet. In terraria, you start farming materials, building a base, unlocking hardmode, fighting bosses and after this, you switch the world to do it again. Starbound is more about traveling and farming planets to build up your ultimate spaceship.
  6. The worlds/planets are much more random and unique than in terraria. terraria is a great game (played it a lot), but after some time you'll see that the randomness of the world generation isn't that random. in terraria you are "bound" to a world. you can leave the game to switch the world of course, but it's not very comfortable. In starbound you are able to travel between your world. Also there are (sometimes friendly) npcs living in the worlds, which makes the game more organic.
  7. multiplayer is very addicting
  8. Soda is also called "Natron" or "Sodium carbonate" which is Na2[CO3], a mineral salt. It's just for the carbon dioxide - they use it all In europe / germany we have "Schwipp Schwapp" from Pepsi or "Mezzo Mix" from Coke which are cola and orange - i prefer this over all
  9. let me add 4 types of bongos i found a modern city full of friendly apes
  10. they have done somthing with the weapons. my 110 dps axe of death i found 24h ago is a rolled paper now =(
  11. never heard of royal crown cola. in which countries people drink it?
  12. of course, but it also saves itself some space in ram and is a running process. it's the amount of all that "minuscule" programs. everytime "something" changes in your ram, cache, harddisk or similar, your os has to deal with all the stuff in there.
  13. don't know how many planets - there are so much, i didn't count them yet. if you spend some time doing the first quests and crafting some good starter items, it's very easy to travel. all you need is coal, which is good to find a bit deeper. with a silver or gold pickaxe you are able to mine very fast. with 300 to 400 coal you are able to travel a lot
  14. like acex222 wrote, the main reason for not using hamachi is the fact that it's another program you have to run besides. playing games today is like opening steam, opening launcher, opening hamachi and so on - they are all instances which are slowing down your machine because of their amount. but if there are no other solutions for you to play online, it's a good choice.
  15. Yes i read similar in the steam forum. Charakters will wipe today with the new patch. :/
  16. the game is pretty hard, but also very enjoyable i also found a guitar in a space station bunker base. also got some weapons from the pirates in there. are there more ores on other planets? i finished the silver armor so far, but it's hard to find any more ore :/
  17. never heard of craft the worlds. looks very fancy, but also more limited due to the bigger block size. how deep is the gameplay? never heard of craft the worlds. looks very fancy, but also more limited due to the bigger block size. how deep is the gameplay?
  18. I will buy Windforge too. I already liked to get the Art Aficionado pack, but kickstarter only accept visa or mc and i have no other use for such cards here :/.
  19. Starbound and Darkout are out now on Steam. I think i will buy both even if i know that i have no time to play them. Maybe i can stick with one of them. But there is also the chrismas update for Terraria - damn it
  20. Starbound http://playstarbound.com/ Windforge http://snowedin.ca/projects/windforge/ Darkout http://www.darkoutgame.com/ I like the theme and idea of Starbound (space, planets, ...). Windforge has flying ships and combat - and Darkout? The lightning looks great. I did not hear from all three until few days ago. They look really similar - so which will be the best?
  21. kickstarter has only one payment method and we don't use mastercard or visa in germany for payments (we have EC, PayPal etc.). so i'm waiting for the steam release tody to buy me in. it really looks like terraria in space, or windforge - hope i feels like that.
  22. GTA V defenitively, but it wasn't released for pc so i can't count it. So i give my points to Bioshock Infinite
  23. google results belong to your search behavior. i got pictures of plants and ant colonies
  24. local christmas fair is starting tomorrow - time for hot waffles
