  1. Zombie dispersal / migration looking better, not so "plotted". Finding lots and lots of hammers. It's almost like a nightmare, not the zombies, the f'n hammers. LOL
  2. Build 32 WOW!! Was really getting bored in previous renditions, do to Z's becoming a non factor. Not so much now. Start blazin now and they just keep coming and coming. Like it much better, only shoot a gun now when i want to pied piper z's away from a loot spot or safe house. The numbers are much better, dispersal is a little odd, doesn't look/feel right. The random points are good, but the Z's all squish up like snakes fucking in water. Started new game, looted 12-15 garages. I have about 15 hammers and 5 generators. No screwdrivers or saws. Tools dispersal is off. Need more saws and screwdrivers, less hammers and generators. Love this build. Thanks for all your hard work and the entertainment
  3. What's the reason behind this? You can easily fish during winters much harsher then those in Kentucky. Even if your body of water is frozen you still can drill or chop a hole in the ice using an axe. What should be done is success rate of fishing should be lowered significantly - let's say 1/10 - 1/20 of normal success rate as fish are less active in winter. That's my opinion. Agree with you... man i still do Spearfishing in winter in the Atlantic Ocean when the see let me FFS XD so fishing with a line wouldnt be a problem... I think it should be reduced the chance of success too There is fishing in winter, just lot less chance of catching anything. Thats not what RJ says, so what is it? I mean no fishing in the winter is to me too a bit too harsh, and unlikely. Yeah, i dicked that up, meant to say there should be fishing in the winter since there really is, just lot less chance of catching.

  5. pawnshops usually have a bunch of ninja gear.
  6. That consistently f's me over. I will be sneaking into a place, a gunshot goes off in my direction and zombies and turn into me and see and available food source. Gives the game some spice. I love love love zombie barbecues. The beast eats them up leaving ash. Wish we could walk up to curtains and set a fire in a house.
  7. Thinking about trying Dont Starve and expansion. Has positive reviews in Steam, anyone have any input?
  8. But the rough numbers change as you get into better shape?
  9. LOL, the "average" person is not in good shape. beating down 1 or 2 zombies would have the average person out of breath and wanting to sit and have a breather. anybody who doesn't work out regularly, go find a punching bag and beat on it for a couple minutes solid. you will be very tired and sore the next day. professional fighters spend months getting into excellent shape, all for a couple of minutes of fighting. even better, go grab a sledgehammer and beat on a tire for 30 seconds to a minute solid. it's a great workout and even makes athletes tired.
  10. is a lightsaber. zombie decapitation? no problem. been bit and need quick amputation? no problem. yeah, yeah, not realistic. would make an interesting mod though.
  11. i mainly use guns to draw z's away from where i want to loot, downtown areas are always congested, so i play a tune on the smoke stack and pied piper the fuckers on down the road, double back and loot. i always level up aim skill though, it's nice when you are in a tight spot to hit number 2 key, resulting in a somewhat quick-ish draw, blast blast, run. blast blast, run. and repeat till there is sufficient clearance to clean your drawers if you are wearing any or to change you pants.
  12. Can already see it now..........survived years into the zombie apocalypse only to be taken out by an angry swarm of bees because you ran out of lids. Unless you're allergic to bees getting stung isn't deadly, just uncomfortable. And besides, if you're gonna be keeping bees you'd be stupid to not invest in a smoke pot to calm the bees down and heavy clothing to prevent being stung. you are right, get the bees high and you'll be fine. lol
  13. Should be able to sit/sleep on ground without any amenities. With new exhaustion system and out in the boonies where there are no chairs, life tends to suck. Well, suck worse than the zombie apocalypse normally does.
  14. System works ok. Just stash the pistol and ammo when you have low aim skill. Build up skill with shotgun. Once skill is high enough switch over to the pistol. Worked for me
  15. Build 30 is zombie porn. hats off to the devs, take your bow
  16. will the erosion mod on build 30 include zombies turning into dust in the wind?
  17. Just did some slaughtering with shotgun, noticed the choke was full. very nice!
  18. and wow. 3 out of 100 on a new box. never heard of that many on a new box, even the crappy cheap stuff. had them jam in those numbers, but not misfire.
  19. there will always be extenuating circumstances. your dad was smart and took precautions. my ammunition is stored in ammunition cans in my gun safe which has one of those nice cups that absorbs moisture out of the air, which i change every so often. then there are people, like my stepfather who doesn't really care that leaves their ammo in the top of the closet in the original boxes. Said closet has a leak. So there is an abundance of moisture in the air. I found this out the hard way, as I left my 1100 remington shotgun in the closet when I was living in the dorm during my freshmen year of college. the leak caused a nice bit of rust to form on the barrel of the gun and up near the action. unfortunate but an experience i learned from.
  20. it would be cool at the beginning of the game to have the train come through making loads of noise, crushing zombies. later in the game it disappears. then it reappears with a roving band of outlaw npc's who need killing
  21. no, no misunderstanding. i didn't get my knowledge from watching movies, or reading online articles, or playing shooter video games. i can actually back up all my suggestions with real life experience. rathlord does know more facts than i. i will agree with that. lol
  22. true, but just think about the situation. you got hungry and ate something raw that was a little iffy, it was ok a few weeks ago, before things changed. now your neighbor and some other people are trying to eat you. thank god they are slow. you are running, keeping ahead of them, but they are doggedly following, and others keep appearing out of the woodworks, when all of a sudden you get a ferocious stomach cramp. drop to your knees and vomit on the ground. stomach cramps more violently, gurgles in protest, you grab your ass, willing the sphincter to hold. you hear the moans of the dead drawing closer...
  23. thunderstorms/wind storms = tornadoes, how awesome would that be, witches and flying monkies be damned. personally i was hoping for an STD of ill repute. this is a superb idea, alien ship lands. "we come in peace", a zombie bites it. then we have alien zombies, they are 10 X harder to kill
  24. bingo, i was thinking same thing about traditional campfires when i found my first stone while scavenging. makes sense. then again, i would really like to be able to set a fire by walking up to a set of curtains, lighting my lighter and burning the house down also, that's a whole other discussion though.
