  1. Yeah, Project Zomboid is pretty advanced and realistic, and we all love it for that, however, there are some issues. 1. Not being able to sleep on the ground? Of course, it increases bad mood, can cause minor pain, but, it is an option, and sleeping outside is a risk of being attacked in sleep. 2. Not able to clean blood? Ruins everything really. Bleach, rags, water, alcohol would do. 3. Cleaning wounds with alcohol - decreasing the chance/rate of infection? Bandages should only stop bleeding. 4. Cannot eat uncooked bacon? Bacon as bacon is commonly eaten uncooked. 5. Ducktape magic? We should be able to combine/merge things using ducktape, connect things/items - perhaps the connection wouldn't be as strong as nails or superglue, but it is the primary use of ducktape in survival! 6. Cough to fever in a day and a half and death 1 day after? Too quick, ridiculously quick. There are stages and generally viral and bacterial deseases progress is not as fast, not even close, from entering the body, to lethal. Should be modified. 7. 20 minutes in rain = death? Rain is not acid. Going to a warm place to dry off and taking wet clothes off should and would fix it for the most part. 8. Zombies have a superb ability to hear when they can agro on you when they have their back turned and are half screen away. It also kills the ability to silently approach zombies from behind to take them out, they always turn. 9. Why cant I put a bottle on the ground and let it be filled in by the rain? It could take 3-4 hours from empty to full, but when there is no water, it would do. Also, boiling water to minimalise the chances of infection, desease? 10. Hygiene - There,s advanced health statistics, yet something so critical in lethality of a desease, illness or infection is not implemented. It is in DNS list and I don,t know why. 11. Probably a bug, but, you can hit zombies through walls and interact with things through walls. And zombies hear walking inside a house from ridiculously far away. 12. Canned soup refills hunger, what about thirst? It is a liquid that contains water. What about tomatoes, pickles and such - they should refill a bit of thirst? While drier foods should increase thirst. And, uncooked canned tuna is not dangerous? 13. We can't bust down doors and furniture using axe or crowbar, turn them into wood, planks? Should be. All right, since there is a lot here that could be improved, I tried to stay short. If there is anything unclear we can discuss it below.
  2. Yes, +99999999999999999999999.99999999999999 for this. My living room looks like a tribe of cannibals had their ritual there.
  3. I think the title speaks for itself, but for some people who may not know what Mumble and/or VOIP is; I'll explain: VOIP: VOIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol (Or Voice Over IP). In gaming it is basically an in-game voice communication. VOIP in games means ability to speak to other users/players through a game or a game server, and there are several types: proximity VOIP, global server VOIP, group VOIP. Integration of this could be great for the future of Project Zomboid, especially with now more and more of bigger and bigger public servers. Mumble: Mumble is a VOIP application as well as a VOIP plugin for games, mods and servers. As an example of that there is Minecraft and some mods, servers that use it and Project Reality mod for Battlefield 2. Integration of Mumble means that servers can allow players to talk to each other in game, whether that will be proximity, global or a specific group. Now, I personally, don't think that, if it ever comes, it will come any time soon. But as public servers are getting more and more popular, bigger and bigger, this would be a nice thing to consider. For more information on Mumble: http://mumble.sourceforge.net/ http://mumble.sourceforge.net/Games http://mumble.sourceforge.net/3rd_Party_Applications http://mumble.sourceforge.net/Mumo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mumble_(software) Of course; Mumble is just an easy solution, while developers of Project Zomboid can create their own VOIP service.
  4. Yeah... it wouldn't be fun that you also have to eat, drink, walk, why not just give make us a superman? Because that's fun! Honestly... a really dumb excuse. If we have eating, drinking, dragging corpses, upcoming burning corpses, raw/cooked food - cooking implies, etc. etc. and ETC. then why for no true reason we can't have this?? This kind of pisses me off... If I have to constantly eat and drink, then what the hell, that's fun, but taking a shower, washing hands to avoid infection, pissing, pooping suddenly is not fun. Woah.... SERIOUSLY...
  5. Well, I'd like to see this in the vanilla game, it brings more realism and more to do, more to care about. Also, why is hygiene on "Don-Not-Suggest-List" (DNSL)?
  6. Allrighty... while playing it seemed sort of mildly annoying, so I went here and suggested it. And, sorry, didn't know it was already in development.
  7. A quick suggestion.. not sure if already suggested or not, if suggested, then sorry, I really don't have that much time to search through all topics. So, you kill a zombie - there is a body; what can you do about it? Nothing. Being able to move bodies around, clean the blood, burn the bodies, etc. As you would murder a zombie, you would unholster your weapons and by right clicking the body (or perhaps pressing E) be able to grab it and drag it. You could use sheets rags, sheets/rags + water to clean the blood - since blood/corpse can also cause panic and it is not nice to see in your "base" or place where you would try to camp and/or make a stand. Burning the bodies? Lighter + rags + oil? Ya! So, why not? What else? Problems? Yeah, let's discuss! There is not much else to say... it is all up to the community and the developers... but this would be nice. P.S. Why is personal hygiene under "Do-Not-Suggest list"? Makes no sense how something trying to realistically emulate the apocalypse wouldn't have something alike...
  8. Vehicles probably will be implemented... but it will take a long time to do that. And if they get implemented, I hope all these features come in... doesn't have to happen all at once, but over time.
