Can't cook; help with canned foods as well.

Hello everyone. Been following pz for a very long time now.

 

Not sure if this a bug or not; sorry if it isn't.

 

 

I downloaded version RC 2.9.9.12 and I can't seem to be able to cook. For example, I put a piece of salmon in for 2-3 hours in a turned on oven, it has a red background so I know the oven works. It just doesn't cook. I went to bed, came back and its not cooked (also, things are not on fire--is fire still not back in yet?).

 

Anybody knows what is up with this? 

Also, can't figure how to cook canned beans; I try to transfer the beans onto a cooking pot but doesn't work. Do I need a cooking pan?

Havent cooked salmon in 12 or 13 but soup recipes can cook.    The time for cooking meat or salmon always seemed a bit random.    

 

I could not make beans work with soup recipes in 9.  Not sure now.    Normally you need an open can (tuna) or meat,  an empty pot,  another large item full of water,  and whatever extras you want (butter, sugar, flour, veg, etc) to make it better.  Then click on the pot and select the soup quality.

You need a pot and a can opener to create soup then either eat it all from the pot or use bowls to divide it up !

before you start cooking

first make sure the oven is turned off

then put the raw salmon

then you can now turn On the oven

if the name of salmon is being highlited with bright red, it means its cooking, unless theres no more gas

I looked at scripting for the items and recipes real quick to check.. You need a bowl and the open can of beans.. Or the bowl, closed can of beans and the can opener. You do not need to cook it to eat it.
