For me, it crashes every now and then (much more frequent when running for long periods of time or when having many zombies on the screen). It then freezes, and jumps me back to a really odd looking main menu (with the frozen screen stuck on the back). At this point, I will have to reset, and when I load it up (the original save, not the "crashed" new save), I will go back to my last save point (usually after sleeping). If I do load up the crashed new save, it won't load; basically just a black screen. There was also this time when I crashed 4-5 times continuously, all of me trying to run north across town. I noticed that whenever I crosses a certain section (linear invisible wall, if you will) it freezes up. Every time I crashed, I would try again. The last time, I ran "around" it. Perhaps the game wasn't loading the map fast enough? Yay! You guys never disappoint! Keep up the good work! The skill book multiplier is definitely too high right now; one cooked meal is a level and a half. Can't wait to see the sandwiches! Out of curiosity, in what way is it superior? Doesn't it just boil down to preference? Survival is technically the "realistic" difficulty (the golden standard, if you will) -- the way most people (I assume) play when they are looking for a decent challenge.

That is pretty much how I played for a long time. Until recently I forgot how hard the zombies usually are!

It seems like I cannot see a description of the traits when I mouse over then in character creation.

Hello everyone. Been following pz for a very long time now. Not sure if this a bug or not; sorry if it isn't. I downloaded version RC 2.9.9.12 and I can't seem to be able to cook. For example, I put a piece of salmon in for 2-3 hours in a turned on oven, it has a red background so I know the oven works. It just doesn't cook. I went to bed, came back and its not cooked (also, things are not on fire--is fire still not back in yet?). Anybody knows what is up with this? Also, can't figure how to cook canned beans; I try to transfer the beans onto a cooking pot but doesn't work. Do I need a cooking pan?
