Build 23: Game hangs after alpha warning screen

So what do you need from me, to help you to find the problem(other then the console text)?

 

So far I tried to unpack the zip from page one(zip.gif  zombie_gameStates.zip), launching with that .bat file (ProjectZomboid32-OPENAL-PATH) and the -nosound option. Demo worked fine couple days ago.

 

Problem is that i can't start the game after the alpha warning. I just get the start screen with a distorted bottom bit.

 

hope the console text will give you a hint on what to do :)

Go to %username%\zomboid (C:\users\EG\zomboid where EG is your Windows account name) and, for the sake of simplicity, just delete everything.

It looks like you once played a game of LastStand which is now defeating your attempts to load the game. =/

cool will try that, so i guess that the Demo i downloaded from steam produced a problem with the actual game. thx.

 

Just for your information. This problem did not appear when i loaded vers.25.

Honestly this makes no sense.

 

I've played the last 4 days with sound on the same servers with the same mods installed, must've restarted the game 40 times during those 4 days and each time it did show the menu.

 

Started it today, the main menu never shows up.

 

Just when you think the game is in enjoyable state stuff like this happens. I'll try the .bat.

It is a known temporary issue and is being fixed.

Any quick fixes or should I just wait?

 

Tried reinstalling but now it doesn't run at all anymore. Can't even get into the main menu anymore.
