Getting a Steam key.

I bought this game a while back, and I want to get a Steam key now. This says I need to first activate it on Desura, which keeps saying my username/password is invalid. I don't see why I cannot just get a Steam key. Why make it so complicated?

That link says to use game log-in details emailed to me when I bought from Google Checkout, and yet there is no such information in my Google Checkout receipt.

Yeah, because it was emailed to you, separately.

Send the purchase receipt to accounts@projectzomboid.com like it was stated in the link you posted and they'll take care of it.

Why make it so complicated?

It is as simple as possible already.

Your steam key is generated by Desura based off ownership of a copy on Desura, and I don't think TIS can just 'give' you a steam key themselves (or at least not one still traceable to your previous purchase details).
