I think that in this alternate reality, instead of drilling for oil in Alaska or Siberia or The Gulf of Mexico, whales evolved to where they could fly, and became large flying predators in great numbers, so that in order for humans to get oil, the easiest way is to hop on a while with a drill and a hose. Takes mid-air refueling to a whole different level.

wtf is with that whale :???:

It a Sky Whale! Whale have evolved in a strange way, and this one has a tick skin which allows it to be resistant to meteorites!

Liking the artwork, although the undergrowth textures seem to be heavily repeated.

Yes. we are aware of this issue and may look into this while going in polishing mode. For now, we are still in feature mode (where about 75% done with the story, but still have some elements to finish) and the artist are focusing on what is required, but your comment is heard! We will certainly try to reduce the repetitions in patterns.

If I didn't blow my Kickstarter load on Rimworld I would totally pledge to this but I sorta have a thing with backing multiple projects in a short time span. Best of luck, will definitely spread the word around.
