  1. Hey just though I would let you know that these two things were in the "new stuff" list twice You now have an option to craft all the stacks of something (having 7 logs? Right click, "Saw Logs" -> "All" )Added a key binding (default F8) to hide/show the ping (top left corner)And thanks for another great update
  2. Hey Zim. Please can you post this in the multiplayer help section? This thread's specifically about Build 29.3/.4, rather than general help queries. No problem, It was a question regarding this particular version, hence the post here but I can certainly mosey on over to the multiplayer section
  3. I totally agree, the logical expansion of this beautiful mod is to be able to lock doors again.
  4. Hey guys, anyone else notice that zombies don't seem to re-spawn in multiplayer or at least it seems very slow, can I tweak this somehow?

Thanks guys, I have spent almost 24 hours fighting with the tools grinding out my own map and now can see the answer to my own question and in turn am just going with making my own, my first attempt was a map 100*100 cells but it seems the editor runs into memory problems and I have managed to get it all going with a 50*50 maps. The question I come to now is that I have begun making my building iterations and saving them as .TBX and there used worldEd to place them inworld but when I load up ingame they are nothing but a shadow where the building should be, and all the long grass goes black and I find patches of appliances all over the place, example below
  8. is there a tutorial anywhere on how to edit the existing map, personally I don't want to make a whole new map I am not that artistic but I can certainly make the current map better for my friends and I. Thanks

Hi, I was wondering if the zombie re-spawn for multiplayer is working it this build as it either stops working after a while or doesn't work at all in build 28, also some for of an accurate meaning and usage for the configuration of the serverconfig.ini as most of whats on the forums seems to be speculation, in particular relating to HoursForZombiesRespawn and IncreaseZombieRespawnBy. thank you
  10. Hey guys, I have been running a server in build 28 and occasionally I have members die in what I would consider means out of their control like dying at the top after climbing a sheet rope. I believe this is a bug and even if its an intended feature I would like to be able to grant some form of character recovery for them as I think it was unfair, especially when they had accrued a large amount of skills across the board. I know the characters used to have a folder but I cant seem to find it anymore, is there some way I can back them up periodically or edit a database to recover some version of them even if not the original. thank you in advance.

Hi there, its a great mod, especially seeing I started in January thinking I was playing Australia not America XD but is seemed that you were missing icons for your items so I made some for myself and friends and updated for build 28 not sure if you want me to send it to you or repost it or whatnot?

ZimTown's Meat Curing Mod Vs 0.0.3 For Build 28 Hi guys my name is Zim or ZimTown if you like and this is my first mod for PZ and I would like to say yes there are mods that have similar functionality to this mod out there but from what I can see they weren't up to date so I decided to make my own version because my friends and I are having a lot of trouble with food spoiling. Also because I want to mod for PZ and a need for my self is a great place to start Current Features: It gives you the ability to salt and cure most of the meats in the vanilla game.Planned Features: more recipiesXP given for saling/curing in the cooking skillexpendable saltsbetter spawning for the salt (needs feedback if it seems ok now)extend to drying and pickling fruits and veggiesmake requirements like drying racks ect.more unique sprites and icons (only two so far for the salt, others are PZ icons) the foods you can salt or cure are as follows, NOTE: I know little to nothing about salting and as none of the tutorials were up to date my modding ability is still limited for PZ so you can rest assured that I intend to change and update things like curing styles and recipe results as I learn more Curable Meats These recipes mostly reduce the quality of the meat slightly and make you thirsty but some have positive bonuses other than hunger reduction and A big hint is that I made jerky the best but the longest to make all the recipes require a special curing salt that you can see in the pictures below and I have done my best to add it to the loot table. Currently I know very little about spawning so I took inspiration heavily from the lock pick mod to get it to spawn so you might notice the salt in some weird places, if anyone can point me to a list of map place names for loot spawning that would be great and I would be happy to receive both constructive suggestions on the mod content and help with the coding itself. Currently the Curing Salt never runs out so if you find one your set but I intend to make it expendable once I get the loot spawning ironed out. Now I would like to give credit to (please forgive me if I get these names wrong) RoboMat, Kinyoshi and Pravus as I used varios mods of theirs to work out how to complete this mod and as such some iterations of there code are present in mine. DOWNLOAD ZimTownsCuredMeats0.0.3.zip Version 0.0.3 Change Log: Version 0.0.2 Change Log: same as other mods you just extract the .zip file into your C:/users/"yourUserName"/Zombiod/mods folder then open the game and then click the mods button from the main screen and double click my mod to activate it and restart your PZ client and your good to go. If you want it to work in multiplayer both client and server need to have the mod active, PM me if you need help settings any of this up. BEFORE YOU RUN THIS MOD BACKUP YOUR SAVES! I have tested this without problems as much as I can but I am new to modding and I am not sure what effect it will have on a current play through, In existing saves curing salt will only spawn in unexplored areas or areas marked for loot re-spawn in multiplayer.   19. Ok so a couple of questions now I have my server up which are, how do you determine a grid reference for spawn location other than trial and error which is too slow and second can we see a list of item names for the gear setup (guessed a few). thanks in advance.

  21. I completely agree, so many of my walls have gone wonky because of this and many time I have been trapped because I thought I could just walk through a wall i didn't see but to be honesty I'd rather have the update out soon rather than fix this and delaying further
  22. server admins can set a starting kit in build 25 I believe so spawns outside houses would definitely fix this
