Huh i dont recall seeing it and i been following every video for a while now. Care to link it?
  2. Like loudboomaker said, the copy/paste thing is mostly for Multiplayer, i dont care if someone backups their save in SP, but i been victim of killing someone in MP or seen someone get bit in MP and suddenly they are back at full health or they duped an item. Those changes that RJ is making are purely MP sided, so dont worry.
  3. He must be working on the UI admin multiplayer thingy, but he has been absent for a while, also that wood stove bug has really slipped by a lot of versions now (i think that even before this IWBUMS)

I know but i find it kinda odd that we got the animation of shooting yourself in the head first but from the looks of the video we still dont get the animation of zombies kneeing down and chewing on a fresh dead human body. Instead they just bite the air around the dead player and stand around when they kill you, which in my opinion is something more important to fill into the seamless gameplay systems than be able to shot yourself in the head. Also i really want to see real combat against zombies with melee weapons, so far we haven't seen new attacks from zombies since they were disabled, we haven't seen if they are able to grab you, tackle you down, pull you down, bite you or scratch you while moving or anything new of that sorts.

If is not a button press, then what it could be? I doubt it too because the first thing that came to my mind was "people are totally going to kill themselves by accident", and i cant see how other way there is to perform the action, even a context menu would be dangerous because of misclicks. Or it could be character related to panic or whatever there is like Peter said

The female overhaul was definitely needed, however i dont want to nitpick or sound like its a complain, but the delay of the animation update is because they are tying up the animations to the game systems and putting every missing animation in place making everything seamless. From my point of view, i dont see the new animation of your character shooting himself in the head to be very useful right now or connecting it to make something seamless or a way to tie up to some game system. The only thing that i wonder is, why focus a bit of time to add it now and not later?
  7. Yeah, there is no need for a trait like this if the starting conditions can be on or off in sandbox.
  8. Those are more requests than bugs, if you have some neat ideas, you can go this this section of the forums to do so: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/forum/20-pz-suggestions/ Right now this thread is for testing this build and report any nasty bugs you might find or giving feedback about some new systems introduced.
  9. I think that is a bug or somehow they implemented Blacking out without telling anyone. So it happens only in the mall? You should probably post your console log when that happens again.
  10. As far as i know you cant really pass out in-game, what do you mean with passing out?
  11. Survival is supposed to happen after Initial Infection and The First Week right? So is obvious your character had to go out and do stuff to survive, he wasnt in a coma in that period of time. I like the idea of starting out with a small yet curable disadvantage, it changes the start a bit from check all the containers, secure weapon, bag and bag all the possible food and get out, even that very small disadvantage will change it up a bit. Like Rathlord said, context is king, however we are also talking about players who think that nothing bad will happen if you drink bleach because "it gives you -50 Thirst". In my opinion, if they dont remove the injury/disadvantage (hunger, thirst, zombies in some other room, house about to get on fire) at the start conditions, then they should give the players a warning in the difficulty start, giving a hint that you been though the first week and that you might be injured or have a slight disadvantage. This would at least make the player get the idea that they wont start in perfect conditions and give the context that your character could have been injured or that you might start with shit hitting the fan. To avoid the feeling of "i feel punished by this, better re-roll", it would be better to have those starting conditions be the norm of each start, however this would need a LOT of feedback and might be too punishing or it might spice up a bit the start of the game.
  12. Hunting is planned. Wells are in the game. There are going to be more weaponry in the game "soon". NPCs will be able to make groups between themselves, the intention of a NPC will depend on his personality (he is friendly or not, but from what i read, is more complex) Vehicles are planned and i think that there will be bikes in the game (is the most logical thing since you will need something to move around other than your feet that doesn't consume gas )
  13. Unless he means the casings to reload ammo. But still i am quite curious if he meant taking the literal bullet from a corpse. Either way, you can found ammo in zombies in rare occasions, so go and scavenge.
  14. "Kentucky is the nation’s largest producer of burley tobacco and dark fire- and air-cured tobaccos. Only North Carolina surpasses Kentucky in tobacco production". Well thats an interesting read: http://www2.ca.uky.edu/agcomm/pubs/aec/aec83/aec83.pdf So it could be good if you could find some tobacco seeds on some farms or some store dedicated to sell items like that.
  15. Cigarettes on zombies would be damaged to shit since they walk around and dont really care about them getting smashed in their pants anymore, maybe finindg 1 or 3 usable cigs in a zombie could be good, but sooner or later it will encourage zombie farming like we use to do (and some still do) with axes. Its going to encourage the player going "huh i need a smoke, better go and kill some zeds". However having the option to grow tobacco opens up trade opportunity between NPCs and players or player to player trades, something like This War Of Mine where if you start growing tobacco, your cigs are not like the real thing but still have some value, same goes to moonshine. Maybe player made cigs could have less effects than real cigs but still it would accomplish to fill that "need" of nicotine for some time.
  16. In my opinion it should be easy to get addicted and hard to stop begin addicted, when you say someone is a smoker, you are implying that those people have smoked for a very very long time, trying to quit it in a span of 2 weeks is almost impossible (i seen friends, family and coworkers try to do it and they just cant, begin that even after a month of no smoking they come back always). I hope that you change opinion and add some sort of addiction to smokes in the future and add a long period of time of cold turkey that decreases it effects over a long period of time making it hard to quit.
  17. Yup this is how i imagined Project Zomboid looking when they added the thirst system. Also the smoker trait can be gained if you smoke some cigarettes? I mean if you puff lets say 10 smokes in the span of 3 days or something like that, can you become addicted to it and gain the smoker trait?

    Smash n' Grab

Well that means that we probably are not going to get the animations update this month or in this IWBUMS. But i am intrigued to know what they mean with community radio/TV content means.
  19. I like the idea, wearing a motorcycle helmet to try and raid a base at night without some guy pointing out your name would be neat and since we are getting all the clothes options in the update, it would be more easy to ID someone or give a vague description of what they were wearing. I mean you should be able to ID someone with a helmet when you are in close range, but a full on mask or even gas mask it could be very hard to do it.
  20. I dont think that darker colors would help when you are looting in the dark. How about sum of dem blue color? (who i am kidding, i am colorblind, i dont care about the highlight color i just care to see what i am looting ;_;)
  21. Can we please dont use those types of colors? It kinda hurts the eyes when you are reading in the dark and they are kinda annoying to read.
  22. I had one uncle that was close to me and he hang himself, also one friend from the childhood who took his own life because depression. It is a very strong image to see someone who hung themselves, but when i see it in a movie, game (cry of fear) or other media it never brings back those memories, life is like that, it sucks sometimes, but well that is offtopic and i still hope that we see NPCs who took their own life in different ways other than guns (since they are very loud) if they weren't strong enough or maybe they got infected. From my point of view, it would enhance the world of PZ.
  23. I dont see why it would be controversial either. Is the end of the world, shit is hitting the fan at escalating levels, people may kill themselves with guns, but what happens when you dont have a gun but you have a rope? Or knife? It would definitely add that "grim" atmosphere to the world, checking the base of an NPC and find him hanging and probably turned (because hey who wants to suffer though zombification) would in my opinion enhance how fucked everything is. Controversial would be having kids in the game, but no one will bat an eye if you find people who hang themselves, for Christ sake we have the option to drink bleach already and no one cares, is just a way to slowly and painfully die in game and when NPCs are in, they are going to need a way to suicide other than bleach and guns. Also on topic, we already have pools of blood and some other blood decorations, but i would love to see more random stuff around in the world.
  24. Like Rathlord said, i would be fine with it only if it more chances of failure that could lead to some injure, like it got stuck up there but with very little durability or very low chance of success. But to be honest, at this point it would be better to have a ladder instead of working around the fact that we need a way to go up and down a place that is not OP or the other extreme. Of course that implementing a ladder would be hard because it would be a new type of item that you need to deploy, climb up and down, be able to move it in different places and the ability of zombies or players to knock it down.
  25. Same here, guess that was a bug that players used to work around the fact that as soon you press E infront of 2 fences and one has a rope, your character is going to chose the one without a rope.
