  1. Why do people do this every single time? You've just read that it is a WIP system and yet still can't help yourself. It is a game about zombies roaming the earth but sure, a few wonky basements would make it unrealistic. Keep it up TIS. Looking forward to seeing what map makers can create.
  2. It'd be cool if the exercise videos taught you a new exercise or maybe a different technique. Lifting dumb bells for example. New player lifts in an inexperienced way, prone to injury but gets better over time. Watch a series of exercise videos and player improvement rate gets slightly quicker, less prone to injury. Even if it taught a recipe for a healthy drink or meal, could tie in with the new liquid container stuff going on. "Hi, I'm Buff Barry and I always start the day with my big buff breakfast smoothie" or something.
  3. I can see why this would be useful, especially for new players and for finding each other in MP. I would absolutely encourage people to try to learn parts of the map to memory if possible though, as being able to navigate without any assistance is a game changer. It definitely helps in the early days when trying to get set up if you can instantly recognise where you are without a map.
  4. You need to adjust the example mod. Copying it won't work. Follow Step 4 on the below:
  5. It was just a joke and not meant to be deep but thanks for providing the expected response.

  8. If you are roleplaying then surely it doesn't matter if any of this is implemented. You could walk into the bathroom, shut the door and pretend to coil one out, since you are RP, you could pretend your hygiene is up. Personally, I'm not too enthusiastic about the hygiene suggestions. I don't want a situation where I have to worry more about brushing/flossing my character's teeth and wiping their ringpiece than actually playing the game and having fun.
  9. Could say the same about life really. Whats the point in anything since we're all gonna die and the sun will explode eventually? For me, the fun is in the journey, not the destination. Similar to life in some ways. Having everything spelled out for you and holding your hand the whole time doesn't seem like fun for me. Might as well just watch a simulation unfold rather than participate in a game. To each their own.
  10. Not sure how I feel about this one. For me, the reason they are the same is to make the player unsure if they are infected or not. People already prematurely quit the game as soon as they are queasy so having what you suggest would just increase that ten fold. Really like this though. It could be really interesting. See a body on the floor with a backpack on, go to investigate. Turns out it's not a body. ??? Maybe the swiping of the legs could be something you'd learn though skill book or a martial arts VHS or something.
  11. Why are people so desperate to see their characters shit and have sex? There are so many websites that already have what you seek.
  12. Anyone who has played Stardew Valley in the last few years will know about the "add to existing stacks" button. It is an absolute life saver when organising. For the uninitiated, when you click the “Add to Existing Stacks” button, it automatically tops up any item stacks you have in a container using items from your inventory. Zomboid needs something similar to this, purely to save people dragging and dropping so much. In SV, the transfer is instant but I think having a cool down like PZ has now would still work best. Just my two pennies' worth.

    Holy Cow

So dramatic. Woe is me. 😄 Keep up the good work TIS.
  14. Helicopters fly anywhere between 1000-8000 ft (maybe more TBH) above the ground and certainly not close enough to be affecting trees (except during landing and take off). In real life when you see a helicopter in the sky, is it blowing the leaves of the trees around you?

Loving the mapping updates. Super excited to see what people can come up with. Looking forward to updating some of my existing buildings.
  16. If anything goes wrong, I'll hold you personally responsible. Jokes aside, thanks man. Going to try and get a server going with my mate during the week.
  17. Same here. If I host a server with the temp fix above, will there be issues continuing saves once a vanilla fix is released?
  18. I'm yet to come across this alleged bug though my play-style is covert. It just sounds like people are desperate to feel like Rambo, making bad decisions then complaining that the game screwed them over.
  19. Sounds like the water has shut off which is supposed to happen. The pot is only partially filled because that's how much water was left in that particular sink. Can you click on other water sources like toilets or different sinks and fill your cooking pot?
  20. https://projectzomboid.com/blog/news/2018/09/beeverdoid/ It is planned but other things have taken priority for now.
  21. It was stated the build should be out, which is in no way a guarantee. I suspect a language barrier is the cause for confusion.
  22. Just interested in your motivation in hope of better understanding the human condition. I see no reason for you to delete your posts.
  23. I'm just curious what you think will happen after you've reminded TIS what stage of the week we are in, twice. Do you believe these posts will make them release anything quicker?
  24. What are you hoping to achieve with these posts?

    Jumps n' scares

In the post, it says in big bold letters: Likewise there is a big savegame file size optimization going into this version, which will mean that your current savegame will NOT be compatible. But, clearly, fret not – the current 41.50 version will remain available to you, and step-by-step savegame transfer instructions will be provided should they be required.
