Give me anything on hood modifications. Being unable to repair and improve cars is a pain. Playing on insane settings, one trip to town and your hood, windshield, lights are all gone and need replacement. And get rid of that ugly trunk repair copy job from the weapon template. Gross. Having limited repairs on a long term object is not good design!

Latest IWBUMS tosses a stack trace on right clicking any farming dig patch. I don't expect a fix from Hydromancer I just wanted to toss this up here for awareness. I might try to fix it myself and if I do I will edit it in this post. Edit: I should clarify this makes farming impossible, as well as irrigation which is the root of the problem. 1535116869854 ----------------------------------------- 1535116869854 STACK TRACE 1535116869854 ----------------------------------------- 1535116869855 Callframe at: table.pairs 1535116869855 function: getBarrelAt -- file: WaterPipe.lua line # 163 1535116869855 function: doPipeMenu -- file: WaterPipeMenu.lua line # 155 1535116869856 Callframe at: se.krka.kahlua.integration.expose.MultiLuaJavaInvoker@801bbf88 1535116869858 function: createMenu -- file: ISWorldObjectContextMenu.lua line # 1313 1535116869858 function: createMenu -- file: ISMenuContextWorld.lua line # 46 1535116869858 function: createWorldMenu -- file: ISContextManager.lua line # 28 1535116869859 function: doRClick -- file: ISObjectClickHandler.lua line # 45 1535116869859 function: onObjectRightMouseButtonUp -- file: ISObjectClickHandler.lua line # 239
  3. Overdosing is easier to mod in than addiction. You'd only need to set a var for each drug. Then you can increment it when you take drugs and decrement it every cycle. Once you reach thresholds, existing moodles combined with direct health damage can imitate an overdose. Addiction on the other hand needs a lot more going on to feel good. Cravings, long term changes to player health, etc.
  4. Easy fix Video on youtube of issue. As it says in the title. The vision modifier function does not have a boolean to check for the headlights being absent. If you wanted to do the job proper the function should check for each headlight and give extra vision for that side but you could slap together a quick fix and not adversely affect player experience.
  5. I've done a hearty appetite run and I don't agree that it's bugged per se. You just have to be very mindful about your consumption. When I'm overweight I tend to have 2~ cabbages per day. This keeps your caloric/fat intake very low. I stayed alive for 9 months with that (very recent) save so I had a lot of experience in managing my weight. It makes it more annoying than not having hearty appetite but it's not really a hard challenge, let alone broken.

Is undeniable.info accurate in reporting the stats of a copper short sword and a steel short sword share identical combat stats? If so.. why?

It was on 3x speed but the very moment it was finished crafting yeah, and at full health. However I just loaded a recent backup and tried to replicate it, and was completely unsuccessful in dying. Let alone instantaneously. So I won't call this a hydrocraft issue. Sorry for not testing this before reporting.

Bone marrow is a pretty screwed up. The bones you get are worth far more than the animal carcass itself. Needs rebalanced badly. Picture of stats in spoiler.

A lead ingot weighs 0.5 A bullet tip weighs 0.01 Why does it take one entire lead ingot to make a bullet tip? I could accept that theres a 50% waste of the ingot or even higher but its absurd that only 2% of the lead ingot is used and its deleted in the function.

Is there a way to make shotgun shells in Hydrocraft? The wiki was unclear. Also I'm surprised there's no still in the mod. Making your own alcohols and vinegar would be nice.

Welp. That's a shame. The additional crops are very welcome but the additional system to grow them isn't. It doesn't fit the progress of the game and circumvents the challenges farming presents. Here's hoping for a solution in the future.

Interesting, can you elaborate on what makes it challenging? Farmoid looks pretty dead.

Feedback/question. Why don't the new plants use the in place farming system? The whole insta grow harvest with fertilizer is weird and doesn't really fit the game.

    1. The "make plain mashed potatoes" recipe duplicates cooking pots. 2. Is there a github or anywhere to post bug reports? After further testing I can reproduce this. Test conditions: One large pot empty and one large pot filled with water in inventory. 10+ potatoes. 1 potato masher, all in inventory. Right click any of the involved obj and you will be able to make as many mashed potato obj's as potatoes. I suspect that having a pot with water is the culprit and its causing the duplication. I'm unfamiliar with lua programming but I can only assume that the child obj of the large pot has some strange check for contents. Seems like a simple if water return fix.
  16. Yeah that's something I considered as well. I think it's a lot like reloading in that sense. You gain a lot of speed when you go up a level but by the time you actually gain that level the usefulness of sprinting has been minimized. By the time I've gained one level of sprinting, I've already killed so many zombies that I don't ever feel like I'd need to sprint. The only use for sprint after the early game for me is traveling immense distances. But even traveling immense distances doesn't really increase the level at a sufficient rate for it to be a factor. To max out sprinting and become a world class marathon runner you'd have to actually train in game to run a marathon by sprinting every single day for several hours a day.. for months. Compared to carpentry that can be mastered in a week or other skills with much faster leveling times, sprinting (and reloading) seem out of place.
  17. I was able to max out aiming at level 5 and only gain one level of reloading. This was done though serious min/max reload after every shot of the pistol grinding. That can't be right. Reloading needs rebalanced to gain much faster so it's reasonable. A problem with this is reloading is already fast enough at the first skill level if you take away panic or any other factors. The entire skill needs looked at for rebalance. Sprinting is another strange skill. I can run from Knox to Muldraugh and back and only gain half a level or so. Even intentionally grinding it by running laps around an area would take months of work but I have not tested that thoroughly yet. It seems like this skill takes far too long to gain points in and needs adjusted. Skill books could address both these issues, a rebalance of the time it takes to gain a skill point or the amount of points gained, or another approach. As it stands, it's pretty silly.
  18. Could you improve the UI handling of the books? Right now, there's three main problems with the mod. 1. It doesn't show up on the UI as a boosted skill. 2. The book disappears after reading it. 3. Identical books show 0/220 pages read even if you've already read it. There's no way to tell if you've read a book or not without keeping a notepad open. It'd be great if you could look into that.
