  1. Firstly, in all those top end open world games like ESV: SKYRIM or Rockstar's RED DEAD REDEMPTION, you look for something to do. So once you've established a closed environment you need to find something to do, right? Well I know for a fact that people are going BALLISTIC over NCP's being brought back to the game, so it would be fun to find them and their safe houses and it's up to you to trust them and hope they don't shoot ya, or slaughter them and nick their loot. People wanted a strategy side to PZ, there already is one but if it could be grown into living in a fortress under the rule of some arsehole of hero it would be much more like the walking dead or something. You could be taken prisoner and must escape a gang's hideout and find your way home. If vehicles are added (and it is confirmed that they will) convoy ambushes will give players a reason to venture from their base. In the end, people just want the world to feel more alive, but keep the apocalypse atmosphere on the ride too!
  2. Fast travel? DEFINATE NO. Respawn in another town, same world? HELL NO. Become leader and make a safe haven? FUCK YES. Make PZ a more strategic game? DO IT.
  3. It would be fun to use planks to barricade a door and then after push a wardrobe in front for extra strength! Or pull it in front of the stairs to slow zeds down when they invade your compound. Anyone who's survived a while on PZ knows that zombies will one day breach your compound unless you die inside it first, when that happens a REAL survivor uses anything around to help him/her. Moving furniture would bring PZ a step closer to life in TWD!
  4. The talking pillow has a good point, it would add an arse-load onto development time but lets you do the only thing that helps you survive. Improvise on the spot!
  5. Maybe in the future there won't be server respawns, but you have to wait like ten minutes before joining another server?
  6. But in an emergency you might have to improvise, duh!
  7. I read that book, a zombie is basically a dead body but the brain still functions with one motive, eating people. It's an independent brain though, needs no glucose or O2 it just eats till it explodes! But breaking the spine is useless, independent brain! Remember? Breaking a zed's arm does nothing. Stab, Shoot, Jab, cut or crush the brain.
  8. It's like an OP unrealistic version of SoD Breakdown!
  9. Damn right I love zambies! Maybe I could just make it a mod instead, it would make more sense... Here thanks anyway!
  10. My friends and I always thought it weird how you wake up and everyone you know is a zombie... So what if there was one week to prepare for the end? Day 1: You see on TV of a new virus breaking out. People walk around like nothing ever happened, you do whatever you want. Your home is stocked with food but it will have to still last. Day 2: More descriptions of the zombie are broadcast, one in twenty people start buying slightly more food. Day 3: Zombie Virus is stated as an Epidemic, what started in... Egypt? is now spreading rapidly into Europe. Day 4: US/UK or wherever the player lives, broadcasts are sent out to say that zombies are in the country, the streets are emptier that the first two days. Shops close and buyer are sent away, cars are few and far. Day 5: Stores and Homes are broken into and shooting starts, the apocalypse hasn't happened yet but you are already under threat. Day 6: The first zombies enter in the map looking for food, cars crash and the map is slowly formed as people are eaten on the streets, some people band in their homes to defend their families, others join safe houses. The choice is yours. Day 7: TV stops, wifi is down, internet breaks off, electricity and water will shut off in however many months you set it to. Project zomboid has started... So basically, in The Walking Dead, people have all these stories of how, like Jim, they only survived the first week because the dead were too busy eating his children to notice him. So your own post apocalyptic story is formed, as long as you survive the beginning, being a game you probably will, and don't break the laws or you could end up in a jail (This probably might take some time...) but it is a more realistic start to PZ. I just don't like it that you start of days into the apocalypse. So a little time before hand would be nice, so you can watch the world around you fall apart? Still I like the idea!
  11. Ok thx, but I don't even LIKE GTA, just in no. I the cars turned in smooth turns not flick to the left of something stupid like that. Oh yeah thx I didn't know about the search bar lol
  12. Let's just say that you make a desperate run for the police station because the hordes are closing in on your home... Now a horde three times the size had besieged the P.D. They chase you and you find more and more zombies, one more idea in a real zombocalypse.... THE ROOF! HECK YEAH! So you climb to the roof of your house, then the zomboids will wait for you to come down, you'll need watr and food and ammo, so you jump to the next roof, and climb down, then you can just run home! It also helps against banditos on MP, they might have to climb the wrecked stairs everyone wants? Or as a zombie safe tree house? Annoying to get into and easy to besiege but it might just save you in the long run if done right! If this seems to OP then please leave ideas on how to balance it, like risk of injury, zombie spawns on roofs (Idiot survivors ) or some buildings are only access-able buy climbing! Like in 'I AM ALIVE' by Ubisoft.
  13. Dogs wuld have to be mad-arse noisy so you don't stumble to your death
  14. SPOILER THE WALKING DEAD: I swear you've been watching the end of the walking dead season 3 where carol uses axel's corpse as a sheild from the guvna.
