GameBoy357's Achievements

  1. The rain is great now. Thunder and lightning is well done as well. Other sounds effects are also back and/or improved. Thank you.
  2. Yes, no more chopping sounds when making certain food stuff.
  3. Is there any drawback to watering crops with "tainted" water?
  4. Short of actual migrations which I'm sure are more difficult with a map this size, I am hoping meta events turn into real events. Here's what I'm thinking. 1) Couple NPC bandits come knocking at your base and you have to deal with them Side event - if too much noise (guns or screaming or whatever) spawns a nearby mess of zombies walking your way.Possible Side effects - damage your base (holes in fences, etc), destroy your water barrels, food, etc2) NPC girl comes screaming your way dragging a mess of walkers behind them 3) NPC shoot out happens near-by and spawns a mess of walkers that wipe them out, they stick around for you to worry bout 4) any explosion or fire or alarm has a chance of spawning a mess of zombies with a path walking toward the event 5) NPC dog comes around barking near your base, a chance of here come the walkers. 6) Your pet dog starts barking You get the idea.
  5. Each time there are considerable number of updates, I do one survival game in each location to see if the challenges change. I tend to play the West point one more because I have the map nearly memorized, but I like the warehouses in Muldraugh. I tend to make my bases closer to wooded areas at both locations, and then make little base way points when I go exploring and scavenging.
  6. This game is in Kentucky right? They don't necessarily get winters like Maine where you can't see the ground for weeks and months and everything is basically barren of growth. I don't think it's unreasonable to see wildlife or have streams and lakes that are not frozen over. In New Jersey, I see all kinds of animals roaming around in the winter time, and some plants still grow, the ground is not always snow covered, and I don't always need a thick winter coat. Weather varies and you can have some winters you get hardly any snow.
  7. It looks like after the update to 30.10 my rain collector (small ones) don't collect rain anymore. I even created new ones which also don't collect water. Let me know if I should put it in for a bug fix.
  8. Or just make up some bogus brand names like Nuka Cola.
  9. Update 30.7 - Did Zombie AI change? I am able to attract a horde with very little effort now and I think I'm scared.
  10. Any guess how long in-game? I have had my fracture splinted for about 3 weeks now in-game.
  11. How about some in-game hidden stashes. Find out by diaries, note on frig, or last 5 mins of cell phone battery life. Stuff like that...not everything should be on a shelf or in a box. Also is everyone a farmer? I would have thought seeds would be a little harder to come by since I don't see vegetable gardens at every house. House with a lot of land would be more likely to have seeds, and maybe more of a variety (corn, cucumbers, etc.).
  12. If you really want to make things hard to survive don't make rain barrels available until carpentry level 4 or 5. You'll be drinking from toilets for months and it will force you to go out and explore where you might not want to (eventually).
  13. Unarmed or small weapons (fork, spoon, butter knife) should have a greater chance of getting scratched. I'm not sure that's in the game mechanics though.
  14. For me, It used to be axe, saw, nails, carpentry 2, rain barrels. But yesterday I just found a bottle of red wine, so now that's my most valuable item. I will now make a stronghold and defend it to the end.
