Wasteland
I got my time settings on my server equal to real time, and some of the stuff still works as if i had1 hour=day, is there a way to make lamp on pillars work longer than 5 minutes of real time? Fryhizzle
They suck and seem unrealistic, but I think that might be on purpose.
Viceroy
Yeah they don't work long enough for me to be interested in building them. I hope they get a bit better balanced.
ApolloDiaspora
I DO like the lamp on pillar, as it gives larger survivor settlements a nice atmosphere. But, last time I checked, the cone of illumination wasn't shown for all players in multiplayer, which undermined it's purpose a bit, especially given the battery life. Perhaps a solar-garden-light-on-a-stick would be an idea? Battery life would still be a bit on the 'eh' side (certainly not enough to stay turned on all night long), but every day would mean a recharged battery. Crolf
If you are talking about craftable "flashlight on a pillar", then use "UseDelta" parameter for torch and battery in "items.txt". Lower the value (or set it to "0" if you want non drainable batteries charge). Changes should be made on both sides (client and server), as i'm aware. For open server it would be wise to make a simple batch installer with oportunity to revert changes back to default (to avoid possible complains...).
