I lowered my game's resolution to 640x480, but some of the menus/UI is hidden.

Question

Good day!

I tried lowering my game's resolution to 640x480 to try to get more performance out of my laptop, but it seems some of the menus and UIs are hidden.

I changed to a higher resolution of 800x600, and it's playable (in-game the HUD is visible), but some of the UI is still hidden (like in the credits).

I restarted the game, and it doesn't seem to help. I also deleted the Options.ini file as suggested in the pinned post, but it doesn't seem to help either. I have been playing this game for a while now since last month, and I haven't been able to play at low resolutions except 800x600 and above.

My laptop runs on Windows 10. The version of the game I'm playing is Build 41.78.16 from Steam (the latest). I updated all of my drivers too.

The solutions I tried to fix this are deleting the Options.ini and disabling "(override) DPI scaling for Application," as suggested in this Steam forum: 4K and High Resolution Displays.

My laptop's specs, if it matters, are: Intel (R) CoreTM i3-7020U CPU 2.30 GHz, 4.00 GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 620, and a 64-bit operating system.

Attached below are more images and the console.txt file.

The minimum playable resolution is around 1280x720. We can't realistically fit most of it in 640x480.

Regardless, it's going to be the combo of available RAM and integrated graphics that wrecks performance.  There's no real way around that -- you'll lose 2 GB just to the integrated graphics, another gb to windows, leaving a game that usually needs 2-3 GB left with less than 1. It will have to go into swap on disk.

If the laptop has an empty slot for additional RAM, it'd help immensely to fill it with an additional 4 GB, but in short, this is why there's minimum requirements included on all store fronts.

Thanks for replying, but I can increase the resolution just fine. I probably should've put this in the post, but I was asking if I could play at a lower resolution, like 640x480, without the menu or UI being hidden or obscured. Or is that not possible?
